CHAPTER THREE - Adam Hicks

That Bridgit girl might thought that I'm a little bit creepy. Or maybe really creepy. Hey, I was staying up all night put on those songs on the radio. I was tired, okay? Never mind. At least I already made her meet my best-friend-and-partner, Shane. Oh God, he needs a girlfriend. He always be that perfect, talented, and smart guy at his campus. He must be a nerd with a thick glasses who had a plastic surgery then transform to a really cute guy any girl could have ask for.

P.S: I'm not gay. Trust me.

To be honest, we have a bunch of fans. Most of them are girls, and to those who follow us on Twitter or any other social media, which there's Shane's face in it, they will fangirl over him, over us, actually. In scale of 10 he has 7 fans and I have the rest of it. So what? I don't really care about that. I mean, it's easier to love fewer people. Plus, we work here to look for money for college, fans are just a bonus. But hey, don't get me wrong, everyone loves bonus. We love our fans so much, truthfully. Don't cry.

Shane picked me up with his car at my campus. We went to a different college but still in the same city. We were going to the radio station, where we work as a partner. You know, when I introduced him to Bridgit, they 'accidentally' meet again later then. They went to the same campus. They had an interview, I told you Shane is a talented guy. He just won a national contest, well... stuff like that.

This thing I planned is going so much better than I thought. I mean, they're already connected. Have I mentioned that Shane even ask her phone number? Aw yeah, he did. But he hasn't got the nerve to ask her out. But he will, soon, because I will force him to.

"Why are you so excited about me and her?" he said, because I cannot stop talking about them. He doesn't know about my plan. He may be a genius, but he's an innocent.

"I don't know. You don't have any girl friend before. I'm afraid that you are actually gay. You're not, are you?" I straighten up my back. He gave me that 'What?!' look when I looked at him. "If you're going to say you do have some, Samantha and Ciara are not counted."

Samantha and Ciara are our girls crew in our office. "First of all, I'm heterosexual. Second of all, I have some couple friends at college, you just don't know them."

"Can you mention all of them?"

"Of course I can," he inhale some air and exhale. "Bridgit, ..."

"Ha! Bridgit's the first name you mentioned. It means you don't have any."

"Why do you even care?"

"Because we're roommate. So it will be terrifying if you have a crush on me," I turned on the radio so he doesn't take this seriously. You know it's not the main reason.

"Gross! How could you even think that way?!" he meant it, I can see it through his face. It's like that face when someone vomit on your feet. Disgusting, ew. I ignored him. I closed my eyes when we reached a red traffic light, didn't thought that I would actually sleep.

There's a segment in our show on the radio when we receive some calls from listener (or most of them are our fans, I can say). They can ask us anything or request a song or just say hello to their family and friends. Today we got an unexpected call from a, I don't know, fangirl? She sounded so excited.
