chapter 2- is he gay?

"How about you Kleigh?"

Kleigh thought he could stay here but disagreed after remembering his meeting with the Bryans. "I have clients back in NY."

"Your sister could take care of it. Don't worry about the deal with the Bryans. You stay here." It wasn't a question. His dad was calm on the outside but he knew that deep down, he was serious. No one could talk to his dad after he had made a decision and it was a side of him that he hated. He hated the fact that his dad still control him. He hated the fact that the only person he ever loved was taken away because his father disliked her. 

"Alright," he answered cooly.

"Oh, and John gave me a call the other day. We'll be meeting up with him this weekend and his daughter will be there too. Since you still have business here, I told them that you will be able to come. " Kleigh knew that it was coming sooner or later and decided that for now, he would follow his every command. However, his father does not know that he was planning to leave the company. All he has to do is get the woman to dump him and he'll be free from his dad.

"Sianne, you don't have a choice. You're coming whether you like it or not."

Sianne laughed out loud and continued getting ready for class, ignoring everything her dad just said. " Yeah dad, I love you too." 

"Sianne!" She rolled her eyes at how her dad was acting. Tonight she was clubbing not going to a boring meeting with her supposed to be soon husband. Did he really think I would go? Sianne felt guilty but she knew she didn't have the guts to meet with the man. I wonder if it's really him, he doesn't seem gay. The thought of Kleigh filled her mind even after clubbing with her friends. 

"Hellooo.." Ally waved her hand in front of Sianne's eyes to get her back to reality. 

"huh?" 

"Dude, you've been spacing out since you got here and we're already outside. What's up with you?"

"How does first love feel?" 

"What?" her friends, Matt and Alex, both asked surprised with her sudden interest with love. She knew it wasn't normal that she hasn't been with anyone since birth. 

"But I don't know because he might be gay."

Alex, Matt, and even Ally laughed out loud the moment the word gay came out of her mouth. It wasn't like she really knew if he was gay. It was just a thought. "Will you all shut up? I'm gonna go and take a walk. " She left her friends and shook her head. Kleigh might be the man she was supposed to marry. She might have not gone to the dinner with them today but she knew that she will marry him. She knew her father has been through a lot and no matter how weird it may sound, marrying the man could be her only way to help him.

"I'm sorry for all the trouble. I talked to her this afternoon and no matter how much I tried she just wouldn't budge. I'll make sure I bring her the next time." Mr McKinley said to the Benners. 

"Don't worry about it. Kleigh could wait, right?" Mr Benner patted Kleigh's back with his right hand while his left was supporting his wife's waist. "Well, it's already late. We'll be going." Mr. Benner then shook Mr. Mckinley's hand and left to their car that was just parked outside the hotel. 

"I'll just take a cab on the way back, dad. Mom, get some sleep." Kleigh hugged his mom and waved at his dad. Turning back around to the man behind him, he smiled and said goodbye. Kleigh knew that it was pointless going against anything his parents wants but his business in NY will be done soon enough that he won't have to marry Mr. McKinley's daughter. Well, might as well walk around. London is a beautiful city, the hotel was just right in the middle and the streets were lighted enough to take a walk around. The bank of Thames was just a few minutes away.

This is all too beautiful... Sianne thought while staring at the ferris wheel. It was already quarter to nine and she was getting sleepy. Ugh, I'm already wearing a jacket and it's still cold. She rubbed her arms and turned around just to hit a wall. Sianne looked up and saw the man she didn't think she'll see soon. She reached up and touched his face thinking she was just imagining him. 

"Are you drunk?" Kleigh asked huskily. 

"N-o..." Sianne stuttered and removed her hand. "What are you doing here?"

"Uh, taking a walk." 

"Me, too. Let's go!" 

"Wha-where?" Sianne took his hand and led him to where her friends were. The only way to check if he's really gay or not is to see it for myself. The moment they got back to the club, she was already out of breath. "Well, here we are. Come with me."
