Lucy's P.O.V

I walked towards the guild, gripping my bag as my feet hit the pavement. Today is valentines day and unlike any other girls, I'm not looking forward for this day at all cause I don't have a date or anything, so I'm just gonna spend today with my girl friends and hopefully they don't have a date.

I pushed the door open and was greeted by heart balloons and red clothing everywhere, everybody is wearing red and I seem to be the only one wearing black cause why the fuck not?

"Lucy!" I heard Levy shout my name "Why are you wearing black?"

I shrugged "Don't tell me everyone in here has a date?"

"Not everyone, silly. Some people have while some don't and I guess you're the one with the don't?" She asked, raising her eyebrow.

Normal pov

Lucy laughed "Got that right! Do you have a date?" She smirked

Levy turned red and looked at the floor "yeah..."

"IT'S GAJEEL ISN'T IT?" She shriek, leaning towards her bestfriend with sparkly eyes.

Levy panicked for a while and nodded a yes while covering Lucy's mouth, her eyes widen and hugged Levy "I wish you luck!"

She released her hug and went towards the counter, "Hey Mira!"

Mira looked over her shoulder "Hey Lucy!" She greeted

"Do you have plans today?" she leaned forward and clasped her hands on the counter

Mira blushed faintly and mumbled a silent 'yes'

Lucy smirked "And who is the lucky guy?"

Mira looked around and smiled "Laxus."

Lucy's eyes widen, that was completely uncalled for "Really?"

Mira excitedly nod her head "He asked me to take me out on a date early this morning! It was cute because he has this bouquet of flowers and he looks so adorable."

Lucy listened to her fangirling, who knew Laxus has a soft side for Mira "Then, I wish you luck!" she said, as she hop down the tall stool and bumped to someone

"What the-" She started but was cut off by a laugh with the most familiar voice Lucy has ever heard "Natsu, you almost broke my nose with your hard chest."

He chewed the inside of his cheeks to keep him self from laughing so hard "Sorry..."

She shook her head and smiled, "You're not wearing red." She noticed, instead he was wearing his usual black vest but instead of a loose pants, he was wearing tight jeans that hugs his long legs perfectly.

"So are you. Do you have plans today?" Natsu asked her, hoping she would say no.

"Nope..." She laughed, and scratched the back of her neck

"Perfect!" Natsu exclaimed "So do I!"

"Really?" in some weird reason, Lucy felt relieved that Natsu doesn't have any date.

"Let's go out and have fun!" He invited her, he asked Mira about some advice on how to take Lucy and out and she replied with 'Don't be awkward.'

"Right!" She accepts, and together they ran outside the guild.

"That was fun!" Lucy exclaimed, talking about the game they just played earlier

"You lucky bastard, I got that teddy bear for you." Natsu complained teasingly

"Thank you." She stuck her tongue out but smiled after a while, They both laughed at their childish behavior, "Next stop?"

"The BEACH!" Natsu filled in and they sprint towards the direction of the beach.

When they reached the public beach, nobody was there. They sat on the sand and watched the sunset, "Wow." Lucy looked at it with awe, it's been a while since she last saw the sun setting.

"Pretty isn't It?" She commented, her body slumped and her eyes focused on the sun setting, meanwhile Natsu doesn't seem to look at the sun but he looks toward his blonde bestfriend beside him "Yeah."

"Thanks for today, Natsu." She smiled and looked at him

Natsu couldn't resist anymore and he lean towards her, closing the gap between them, his lips on her lips. Lucy was frozen for a moment but after a while her body practically melted to the kiss, Natsu pulled away, leaving a small space between them, they looked at each other's eyes "I love you."

Lucy gasped, "What?"

"I love you. I loved you for a long time now." He stated, not even looking away from her chocolate brown eyes, and he notice tears building up. He started to panic "Lucy, I-"

He was cut off by Lucy hugging him so tightly like she's never letting go, "I love you too." Lucy whispered to his ear, resting her head on the crook of his neck.

He stood completely still, and after a while he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, squeezing the teddy bar between them "Be my girlfriend?" Natsu asked, and Lucy nodded.

He sighed contentedly "Happy Valentines Day, Luce."
