The Dragon's Princess (NALU ONE SHOTS)

Soldier

I looked at my reflection; golden hair, chocolate colored orbs, pale complexion, skinny arms.

Sometimes I would wonder how the hell did I become a soldier.

I picked up my gun, placed it on my belt and walked out of my room.

I stepped inside the cafeteria. My eyes roam around the area, looking for a scarlet haired woman and raven haired weirdo.

And there I spotted them, close to the exit. Eating their food in peace. I walked towards them with a smile "Hey..."

Erza looked up and waved, while Gray gave me a curt nod.

"How was the mission yesterday?" I asked.

The three of us are part of an elite sector; Sector 24

Yet these sectors are divided into 2 groups.

The S class and the A class.

The A class, such as me, are the ones who has the potential but yet didn't reach the expectations of the superior.

The S class, such as Erza and Gray, reached to the top. They were the strongest in the army.

"Same old shit. Tiring as hell." Gray muttered, leaning back and scratching the back of his neck.

Gray is one handsome guy, but too bad he's already taken by our friend, Juvia.

She is sweet and caring but can kill anyone without a look back if someone flirts with Gray, regardless of their gender.

I chuckled and directed my attetion to Erza who is peacefully eating her strawberry cheesecake.

Erza is probably one of the strongest soldier here in this sector. Her voice is strong and bold.

"Where's Jellal?" I asked. Jellal is her fiancè.

She looked up from her cake and smiled "Went on a job this morning."

I nod. I was about to say something to keep the conversation going but the murmurs in the cafeteria immediately quiet down.

It only means one thing.

"Natsu's here." Gray murmured, and as I looked at the entrance of the cafeteria, there he stood.

His hands are casually placed at the back. His suit so clean and his pink hair perfectly combed.

As he walked, different set of eyes follow his every move. He paid no attention to either of them.

Natsu Dragneel; The Commander of Sector 24 and also the son of the Supreme Commander.

He glanced at everyone and his eyes landed on me.

I froze.

We made eye contact and a few minutes later he then walked towards us.

I felt Gray's shoulders tense and I can feel the atmosphere shift from seriousness to curiousness.
