We stayed silent for a while. Not a single sound coming out from us.
What the hell, Andrew?
Speak!
"Ahh," I scratched my head. "Hi?"
I went towards her and sat on her bed.
Farrah looked at me in amusement. "Hello."
"You okay?" I hoped she was. But shit, without her glasses, her eyes are distracting me more than usual.
"I'm great. Thanks Andrew." She gave me a grateful look and a sweet smile. There it comes, a stupid fucking blush. Andrew, what the hell?
I rolled my eyes at myself and replied in a suave voice.
"You're always welcome, sweetheart." At that, I took one of her hands and intertwined it with mine.
And it was her turn to blush. I smirked.
"Are you feeling nervous?" I teased her. Farrah rolled her eyes at me, her blush deepening.
So. Freaking. Cute.
"Psh, what do you mean nervous? Me, I'm the opposite of nervous. Ha-ha."
I laughed out loud. Farrah couldn't help but scrunch her face in embarassment and hid it with her free hand.
"You liar." I teased her again and tried to pry her hand away from her face to see that amusing blush. She tried to push my prying hands but I was stronger.
"So adorable." I laughed again and she refused to meet my eyes.
"Hmph, it takes one to know one." She said sassily.
"You mean, I'm adorable too? Aww, you're making me blush." I chuckled when she turned and squinted her eyes at me.
"No, a liar."
At that statement, I groaned and now it was her turn to smirk.
"You're going to use that against me, aren't you?"
"Forever." She smiled evilly at me. Forever? I paused.
"I," Farrah stopped giggling and tossed me a confusing look. "I,"
"You're what?"
"...kind of like the sound of forever." And at that both of us blushed.
Stupid!
Stop spouting stupid stuff, Andrew!
You're fucking ambarassing yourself.
But I couldn't help it. She drew a picture on my head when she said that. I thought of when we're already both working, still together and teasing each other. I thought of family get togethers and Farrah holding my hand. I even fucking thought of her in a freaking wedding gown.
And I just met her last week!
This girl is turning me upside down.
"...I kind of like it too." Farrah said in a low voice but I still heard it.
And I fucking liked it.
I stared at her with her forest green eyes trying to stare back but it was shying away. I raised both of her hands which was intertwined with mine to my lips.
"Will you give me a chance?" I whispered to her hand.
Her hands hold on mine tightened. I turned towards her.
"I'm serious, Farrah. I don't know how it came to this but I know I like you." I gulped. Even though I already confessed at the cafeteria, publicly at that, but I still felt embarassed to say those words out. I continued anyways.
