Teen choice awards

As my hair stylist put my hair into a tight, high ponytail and 2 or 3 people did my makeup, candice knocked on my door.
"come in" I yell
the door opens and candice has a bright smile on her face. she's already dolled up. she chose to have wavy hair and has a delicate amount of makeup on. candice is a natural born beauty so she honestly doesn't need much makeup to look even more stunning. she has a long, loose red dress that shines and red high heels that look deadly to me. but let me just say, she looked badass.
"Candice Accola, you're making me look bad already!" I tease
"Please, you're so gorgeous. no wonder both Paul and Ian are in love with you."
The people working their magic on my face laughed. Paul had divorced with his wife, Torrey Devitto a few months ago. When I asked him what happened, he just looked away and left. Why is it such a big deal anyways?
"Candice, I appreciate it. But you making silly rumors about my love life isn't very funny."
"Nina, when are you going to realize that he loves you"
"I know he loves me. I love him too. I love a lot of people, candice"
"You know what I mean"
she shoots me a teasing look and I pretend to be scared. then my hairstylist and makeup artists finish and i have to get to wardrobe. Candice follows me
"Don't you have to pick up Kat?" I ask
"Yeah, but I wanted to see how you looked. Who's taking you anyways?"
"Ian and Paul"
"Ooh, two dates at once? You can't have them both Neens"
I throw the nearest magazine at her playfully. she laughs and dodges it.
"Okay. I'll see you there. Bye nina!"
I wave goodbye and then put on my blue/white checkered dress that's knee length and fits beautifully. then, I slip on black high heels. As I walk outside, I see Ian's black convertible stroll towards me and stop. Ian gets out of the car and kisses me on the cheek.
"You look gorgeous as always" he compliments and I blush
"Thank you. You look handsome as always"
I get in the car and see Paul with his mouth open
"Hey Wesley. You may want to close your mouth before the flies get in"
I smile and he laughs but doesn't keep his eyes off me. Ian clears his throat with the intention of ruining the moment and it works.
"So ready to win an award!?" Ian asks
we nod and then he starts driving.

We walk to the red carpet with a bunch of different celebrities posing for pictures. It was my first time going to the Teen Choice Awards so i was a bit nervous. but I just followed the lead of everyone else. I saw Candice and she ran over to me.
"Nina Dobrev, you make being pretty a crime."
I laugh as I hug her. Then, I see Kat. okay, you should know three things. one, kat is honestly the most kindest person you'll ever meet. two, she's also the most sassiest. three, she looks good in anything. which includes a trash bag.
"Nina you look so beautiful! Honestly, you probably have tons of men lining up to go on a date with you."
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? kat, you look like you're ready to take over the fucking world."
she laughs and then someone calls me over. Its Paul
"I'll see you inside. bye" I wave and then go towards Paul.
"Hey, what's up?"
"First, you look gorgeous. Second. Plec wants us to walk down the red carpet for pictures."
"Right now?"
"Apparently. Yes"
"Oh"
"Don't be nervous. you're beautiful"
I smile and then walk out to the red carpet with him. I can feel Ian's eyes on me but I don't care. I was supposed to have fun so I am. There are a lot of cameras flashing and I feel like my eyes are going to go blind. In fifty billion directions, I hear Paul's name and mine as well. We pose separately and together. Then, we get to the interviews and do our first one together. As a tv spokesperson calls us over. We walk over to her. she signals the tv camera guy to start rolling and then starts her interview.
"This is Holly Johnson at the Teen Choice awards. I'm joined here by Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley. So tell me Nina, where's Ian?"
"Oh, he's back with Candice and Kat."
"So are you and Paul dating now? There are many rumors flying about you two."
Paul and I laugh and he speaks into the microphone
"Nah, we've been best friends since kindergarten. Nothing is happening between us. Nina is really happy with ian. The media just likes creating drama."
I smile, "what he said"
then the three of us burst out laughing.
"Okay, good to know. So next question, do you guys have anything in common with your characters, Elena and Stefan?"
Paul answers, "Nina is sort of like her character. In the next season you get to find out about Katherine. That creates a lot of drama. Elena is very sweet, kind, selfless, beautiful and Nina is all of those things too."
I smile and blush. "Paul is really not like his character. He likes to tease me a lot and he's actually not that serious. He's really outgoing and fun. not that Stefan, isn't fun though."
"Okay, last question. Whats up between Stefan and Elena? Are they together, are they not?
"Well it's only the second episode, but you can definitely feel the sexual tension between them. Its quite awkward sometimes because Nina is like a sister to me."
You would think that would hurt me but it really doesn't mean. We honestly act like siblings around others but then alone, it's like we are something completely different.
"Paul took the words from my mouth. You'll see Stefan and elena's relationship grow and you'll also see stefan struggle with his vampirism around Elena."
then, the interview is over and we thank holly and leave. On to the next interview. Paul and I go our separate ways for this one. As I go to a young male, the tv camera automatically starts.
"I'm joined here by the beautiful Nina Dobrev. So Nina who did you come with today?"
"The whole tvd cast. We're sort of spread out right now but we all met up earlier."
"Wonderful! So the fans all want to know, what's up between you and Ian?"
"We're doing great as a couple and he's really sweet."
Then someone suddenly puts their jacket over me and I look behind to see that's its Ian. How'd he know I was cold?
"Aw, you're so kind." I kiss him on the cheek and then he wraps his arms around me.
"Well, you're definitely in love. But Nina, I've heard some people say that you love Paul as well. Who's the man in your life?"
Ian speaks and I get scared, "I'm the man in her life. what's wrong with a girl and a guy being friends?"
I smile at how heroic he is, "yeah, so Paul and I are actually great friends and although our characters are in love, doesn't mean we are."
"Great, thank you for your time. Have fun at the show"
The tv camera turns off and then we head inside where I immediately search for Paul.
"Nina, we need to talk."
"Again?"
"Its important."
"Okay, okay"
