Sorry for the super late update, I got my phone taken away and I'm literally having to steal it from my mom bit by bit to update this. Oh well. #WorthIt

Amy stared at the person in her doorway. It had been almost ten years since she had last spoken to him, and he hadn't changed a bit. He still had his scruffy goatee and bald head, and ice cold blue eyes. They were staring her down at the moment, fanning over her body.

After about two minutes of silence, Ben spoke.

"Your hair is red."

Amy blinked. After nine years of being on nonspeaking terms, that's all he had to say? "Um... Yeah. Beth changed it for me..." Amy replied uncertainly. Suddenly getting angry, Amy inquired, "Uh, Ben, what the hell are you doing here?"

Now it was Ben's turn to blink. "Oh... Well, you see... I kinda wanted to... Um..."

"Get on with it," Amy snapped.

Ben took a step forward, causing Amy to step back. "I love you," Ben blurted out.

Amy was taken aback. She wasn't sure what she had been expecting from Ben's visit, but it certainly wasn't this. She didn't know what to do. She was married, for God's sake! And now here comes Ben out of nowhere, confessing his "undying love."

"Get the fuck away from me," Amy snarled, then proceeded to slam the door in his face. He caught it just before it could hit him, and thrust it back open, easily overpowering Amy. Taken by surprise, she fell backwards onto her bottom.

"Tell me you feel the same way!" Ben pleaded. He bent down and held out his hand to help her up, but Amy slapped his hand away.

"Don't touch me," she growled. "I'm married, Ben. I can't feel the same way, and I definitely don't. I haven't even seen you in years!" Amy got herself up slowly, taking her eyes off Ben for a moment as she did so. When she was fully standing her eyes instantly went to the object Ben was clutching.

It was a gun.
