Okay, on with da ship!

I kinda ship them in a sibling kind of way (BROTP), but then Mest is older (I think he's like 20? I'm like 100 episodes behind in FT so he may be older) so he could be like a father figure...

But I kinda ship them sort of? *puts up anti-bash shield*

It receives a lot of hate because of the age difference?

But age is just a number?

AND SECOND OF ALL~ (spoilers)

When we first meet Wendy, she's twelve.

But then, she ends up trapped (in time?) with all the other main characters for seven years, which makes her nineteen.

And then Mest is what, 27?

HOW OLD IS HE?! I don't know! I give up. *cri*

Anyway, then it's that one year time-skip somewhere, which makes her thirteen.

AND THEN we find out that the dragon slayers are over 400 years old!

Which makes her 400 and something? lol

Sadly, she still looks 12/13.

SO their age difference is HUGE, but that doesn't really make Mest a pedophile because Wendy is FOUR HUNDRED SOMETHING

Okay now that that's over...

I ship it specifically in Modern AU's, where Wendy is 20 and Mest is twenty-something. But what makes me mad is that people get mad and hate on you when you sexualize a young character, but when you make the young character older in able to ship them with people they still hate on you for doing that??

To sum it up, I think if there wasn't such a big age difference I'd ship it more~ and plus Chendy is my OTP, and then this ship is kinda my guilty pleasure lmao.
