Chapter 4

Vanessa's POV

As I was walking home, it started to rain. Why did it have to rain, I thought as I was at the front door. I opened it to see Sabrina, Sam, and Taurtis sitting on the couch, looking worried at me. I closed the door and quickly ran to my room. "Vanessa!"I heard Sam yell as I closed my room door and locked it. I heard footsteps go up the stairs and a knock on my door. "Vanessa, open this door, please?"I heard Sam ask as I lied on my bed, crying.

Sam's POV

"Vanessa,"I said as I heard crying on the other side. I started to go down the stairs, but heard a click and the door opened to Vanessa. "Vanessa,"I said as I ran up to her. "I can't see you anymore,"she whispered as I hugged her. "What?"I asked, releasing her from my hug as she looked at me. "I can't see you anymore,"she said louder, that caused Taurtis and Sabrina to come up the stairs. Vanessa looked at me and started to cry again. "I-I'm sorry,"she cried as I hugged her again and stroked her brown hair. "Why,"I asked as she looked at me. "In-Invader said too,"she said before she started to cry again. Invader, that bitch, I thought as I kept trying to comfort Vanessa. Sabrina looked at Vanessa with pleading eyes. Vanessa looked, than nodded her head, and Sabrina looked at me and Taurtis. "I need to tell you something,"Sabrina said as we all walked downstairs and sat on the couch. I kept a hold on Vanessa and listen to what Sabrina had to say.

"At our old school, Vanessa was told by someone to stay away from someone else, but the person wouldn't leave her alone, so, she was bullied and she got hurt almost everyday,"Sabrina said as I looked down at Vanessa. Why would this happen to someone so sweet, I thought as I looked at Sabrina. She looked at Vanessa with so much worry. "Vanessa,"I said, then she looked at me. "What,"she said with tear streaming down her face. "Why didn't you come and tell us,"I said as she was released from my hold again. "It just happened in gym, and she would have been like her,"she said, tears still coming down her face. "We can do something about it, if you want,"Taurtis said as I looked at her. Vanessa looked down and back up again. "That is very nice of you to offer, but I don't want to start anything,"she said as I wanted to just hug her and never let her go. "Okay then,"Taurtis said, than smiled. Yep, here we go again, I thought as I knew he would do something mischievous.

"Well, we have to get going home,"Taurtis said. Vanessa looked down disappointing. "Can we stay the night here,"I asked as Sabrina, Taurtis and Vanessa looked at me surprised. "We have guest rooms, I guess so, if you really want to,"Sabrina said as I gave a look to Taurtis, and he understood and shook his head. "Ok,"I said as I looked at Vanessa.

Vanessa's POV

I looked at Sam. "Well, you can pick your guest room, if you want,"I said as Taurtis got up, and nudged Sam. Sam looked at Taurtis, then got up and to choose his room. Sabrina just looked at me, smirking. "What,"I asked as she giggled. "You two are just TOO cute for each other,"she said, making me blush. "I-I'm going to bed, night,"I said as Sabrina just smiled. "Ok, night,"she said as I ran up the stairs.

I was half asleep, but I felt warmer than I originally would be in bed. I open my eyes and I began to blush. Sam was in my bed, snuggling with me. When did he get in my room, I said as I panicked, then relaxed a bit. I just snuggled back and fell asleep.

I woke up and saw that Sam was not in my bed anymore. Where did he go, I thought as I got dressed and went downstairs. Sam, Taurtis, and Sabrina were all downstairs eating pancakes in the living room. "Hey,"Sabrina said as Taurtis and Sam looked over and saw me too. "Hey,"I said shyly, blushing at the fact that Sam was in my bed.

Sam was also blushing as I grabbed some pancakes and sat with them. I sat next to Sam and Sabrina and Taurtis just smiled and giggled as we were still blushing like crazy. "So, did you sleep well,"I heard Taurtis laugh out as I blushed even harder than Sam. "I-I-It w-was g-great,"I managed to say as Sam just continued eating his pancakes. "Sam?"Taurtis asked as he looked, than had a light pink in his cheeks. "Y-yeah, it was good,"he said, then kept eating. Both Taurtis and Sabrina kept laughing as I looked at Sam, then had an idea.

"What are we going to do today,"I asked as Taurtis and Sabrina calmed down from laughing and just looked at us, in thought. "Hm, I don't know,"Sabrina said as we finished eating. "Well, lets go to the playground,"I suggested as they thought about it, then nodded their heads in agreement. "Okay then, go get ready,"I said as they ran up the stairs and were getting dressed.

We made it to the playground and Taurtis and Sabrina ran off, leaving Sam and me standing there. "Hey Sam, I have to tell you something,"I said as I lead his off to the side. "Yeah, whats up,"he said a bit worried. I unzipped the hoodie to reveal my fox tail. Sam just stared at it. "You do have a tail,"he said as I looked at his confused. "What?"I said as he looked at my ears. "The first day I saw you, I didn't know for sure if you were like me,"he said as my ears flicked at the noises. "When I went into your room, you weren't wearing your hat,"he said as I remembered about that. "So, you knew,"I whispered, then he nodded his head.

I put my hoodie back on, hiding my tail, and we went out into the open area of the playground. A girl named Yuki was at the playground with us. She had pink hair with a white bow on the back of her head and pink eyes. Yuki was also staring at me. What is wrong with everyone, I thought as she got up and walked over to me. "I don't think we properly introduced myself to you, my name is Yuki, Vanessa, right,"she said as I hid behind Sam. "Y-yes,"I stuttered as she pulled me out from behind Sam. "You better watch yourself,"she whispered to me. She then bounded off, out of the playground. Okay, I thought as Sam walked over to me.

"What did she say,"Sam asked as I walked over to him. "Nothing,"I said, putting a fake smile on my face, then he smiled back. Why does everyone hate me with Sam, he's just a-, I thought before I heard me name being called. "Vanessa!"I heard Sabrina call as Taurtis and Sabrina came out of no where.

"What,"I asked as they walked towards us. "What do you want to do now,"she asked as we headed to our house. "Lets play games?"I suggested as we entered the house. "Okay,"she said as she started up the games. I ran upstairs and grabbed my sketchbook. "Vanessa?"I heard Sam call. "What,"I asked as he headed up the stairs. "What are you doing,"he asked as I showed him my sketchbook. "Oh,"he said as we headed back down the stairs.

Sabrina's POV

Me, Taurtis, and Sam all played on the Gamecrab, while Vanessa drew. "What are you drawing,"I asked as we played Smash Bros. "Oh, just stuff,"she replied as she still focused on her drawing. Sam looked over at her drawing, his eyes widened, then paused the game. "Hey!"Taurtis said as Vanessa held her drawing close to her. Sam looked at us worried and looked back at Vanessa. "Show them,"Sam said, he started to get angry. Vanessa held her sketchbook closer to her, shaking her head, tears streaking down her face. Why are her hands red, I thought as I saw lots of red stained on her hands. 

"Show them!"he yelled as she broke down in tears. "Show what,"I asked as Sam ripped the sketchbook out of her hands.

"This,"he said as he showed us.

Vanessa's POV

Sabrina and Taurtis's eyes widened as I got up and ran into my room, locking the door

Hey guys, and yes, cliffhanger.

I had to do one in the story a least because this will irritate you guys. (You probably know what it is though >.<)

But anyways I am happy I can work on this and I hope you guys like this as much as I do, and I hope to post new chapters daily. (Not like two chapters a day, but at least one a day)

I have nothing else to say other than that, so, like always.....
