Chapter 3

Vanessa's POV

It's Friday, I thought as I got out of bed. I got dressed and went downstairs to get some breakfast. Sabrina was already downstairs eating cereal. "Morning,"I said to her as she swallowed her cereal. "Morning,"she said as she got another spoonful. We quickly ate breakfast and grabbed our lunch and headed off to school. Should I, I thought as we turned the corner and we were getting closer to the school. We went to our lockers and got our school books. I saw Invader staring at someone. Who is she staring at, I thought as I heard footsteps behind me. "Hey Vanessa,"Sam said as I turned to face him. "Hey,"I said back, smiling at him. Is that who Invader was staring at, I thought as Taurtis was talking to Sabrina about something that they both laughed at. We all started to head to class and saw Okami standing at the doorway.

The bell rang and I saw Invader staring at Sam again. Does she have a CRUSH on him, I thought and got a bit worried. What if he likes her and asks her out, I thought and I must have started to cry. "Hey, what's wrong,"I heard Sam ask, tears clouding up my vision. "N-nothing, I-I'm fine,"I said sniffling. "It's okay, you don't have to tell me, but if you want to, just say so,"he said, then smiled. I smiled back and wiped the tears off of my face.

"Okay class, since it is Friday, it is a free day,"Okami said smiling and lighting off fireworks. Today WILL be a good day, I thought as I got out my sketchbook. I started to draw random things in my sketchbook and I just focused on that.

Sam's POV

I didn't know what to do for the free day so I turned back around to talk to Vanessa. I look and see she was drawing me and Taurtis under a tree, smiling. Wow, she's good at this, I thought as she looked up to see me, looking at her draw.

Vanessa's POV

I look up to see Sam staring at my drawing in awe. I felt my face heat up as I closed it and put it in my backpack. "Uh, h-hi,"I said as Sam looked at me. "Hey, your really good at drawing,"he said as his face turned pink. "Oh, uh, t-th-thank you,"I stammered. The bell rang and grabbed my stuff and waited for that others to go to the lunchroom.

We sat down at the table and I saw Invader staring at me. Why is she looking at me, I thought as I turned around to get in the group discussion. "I saw you looking at Vanessa's drawings,"Sabrina said as my face started to heat up. "She's really good at it,"Sam said in reply. "How good?"Taurtis asked, curious. I pulled out my sketchbook and showed Taurtis the sketch of him and Sam, his eyes grew wide with awe. "THIS IS AMAZING!"he almost screamed as I put the sketch back in my bag. "I'm, decent,"I said smiling as everyone had a frown. "No, you're better than 'decent', you're amazing,"Sam said as my face was going red. His face was also going red as Taurtis and Sabrina started to giggle. The bell rang and we all started to go to gym

"ALRIGHT MAGGOTS, TODAY IS FREE DAY,"Rowan yelled as my expression changed from sad to happy. Everyone ran outside to the playground and I was walking to the doorway, then saw Invader come up to me. "Stay away for Sam, he's mine,"she said as she stopped in front of me. "I can see who I want to see,"I replied and started to walk to the door, but got slammed into the wall. "I would listen if I were you,"she replied as grabbed the collar of my school uniform. I felt like I was shaking as she pulled me closer. "You understand,"she asked, rage gleaming in her eyes. "Yeah,"I squeaked as she let me fall to the ground. What's her problem, I thought as she walked out the door.

Sam's POV

I saw Invader walk out of the building, but never saw Vanessa walk out. What happened to Vanessa, I thought as I walked into the building. I looked everywhere in the building(except the girl's bathroom and locker room, obviously) and didn't find her anywhere. Where did she go, I thought and walked outside to see Sabrina and Taurtis with worried expressions. "Where is Vanessa,"Sabrina asked. "I don't know, she's not in the school building,"I said as I looked around. The bell rang and we went over to Sabrina and Vanessa's house. Did she go home, and if she did, why, I thought as she unlocked the door and walked in. We followed after, then stared in awe at their house. We've never been in their house before, and it was awesome. In the living room, there was a coffee table, a Gamecrab, some controllers, and lots of games. The kitchen was a good size and had so many snacks. They had stairs that lead to Sabrina's room, Vanessa's room, 3 guest rooms, and a bathroom.

"This place is so cool,"Taurtis said looking at some of the games they had. "Thanks,"Sabrina said smiling. She quickly went up the stairs and checked Vanessa's room. "Any luck,"I called up the stairs. "She's not home,"Sabrina said, then started to think. "Is it because-"she started to say, but quickly stopped. "Because what,"I asked as she began to panic. "What's wrong,"Taurtis asked. "Are we going to find her,"Sabrina asked worried. "I don't know,"I said as I grew really worried. Are we going to find her, I thought as I sat on the couch with the others and started to come up with a plan.

Vanessa's POV

I hid in the shack and no one came to get me. What am I suppose to do, I thought as I began to cry quietly. It was going to become like my old school. 

~Flashback~

I was thrown against a locker, and pain shot through my body. "I told you to stay away from him,"the girl said, her eyes blazing with anger. "I tried, he wouldn't leave me alone,"I told her. She slammed me into the lockers again. "You better watch your back Vanessa, otherwise,"she said then let me fall on the ground and walked away.

"Are you okay?"I heard a female voice ask. I look up to see a girl with reddish-orange hair, her blue eyes filled with worry. "I'm fine,"I said and tried to get up, but fell back down. "Here, let me help,"she said and helped me up to my feet. "I'm Sabrina, by the way,"she said, smiling. "Vanessa,"I said smiling back. We walked down the hallway to our next class.

~End of flashback~

I kept crying, curling up into a ball. What am I suppose to do,I thought as I got up, wiped away the tears, and walked out of the shack back home

Also guys, if this is your first read and don't know what Invader looks like because you haven't watched the series, she has blonde hair with black tips, black eyes(also since almost everyone in the series has black eyes, I'll change it to them having brown eyes >.<), a beard, and she has blue and black headphones.

I don't really have anything else to say now so....
