The Maze Runner preferences

It was already getting dark outside, so you went to the homestead and waited for your best friend, Minho, to come back from the Map room. You actually wanted to go there, but since it's forbidden for anyone other then Alby and the runners, you have to wait here for him to come back. Finally, after what seemed hours, Minho finally comes back, but you can tell he isn't happy. "Hi Minho. Is something wrong?" You ask nervously, knowing how Minho was when he's angry. He turns around to face you and you immediately know this isn't gonna end well. "Shut up shank!" He yells at you before leaving the homestead again. Minho has said mean, sarcastic things to you in the past when he was angry, but he never insulted you.

He's probably just stressed about something, but that doesn't mean it didn't hurt you. You walk outside the homestead and walk around the Glade, trying to find him. Minho's nowhere to be found and you start to get worried. "MINHOOOO?!" You yell loudly, but he doesn't reply. "MINHO WHERE ARE YOU?!" Still no reply from him. You sigh and think about places where he could be. At first you can't think of anything, but then you remember there's a fallen tree in the middle of the woods where he likes to go when he isn't running. You quickly go there, and as expected, there he is. "Hi Minho. I was looking for you." He looks up when he hears your voice, but he doesn't say anything.

You sit down next to him and you're silent as well. "What's wrong Minho? I'm your best friend. You can trust me." He finally looks you in the eye and when he does, you see the pain in there. "I know," he says "but Alby said I couldn't tell anyone, guessing the shank is wrong." You smile at him and Minho seems to feel better already. "Well, then tell me." "It's hard to say but, there is no way out. We've been through all sections, all paths, but we never found a way out. There is no way out of the Maze." You look at Minho in confusion. This can't be true right? I mean, there has to be a way to escape from here!

"I'm sorry Flora. It's the thruth. I've run through all of the paths myself, and I never found a way out. We've been running for three shucking years, all for nothing." "It hasn't been all for nothing. Now we atleast know there is no way out." He shakes his head and stands up. He walks back and forward and says: "I don't believe this is it. I'll keep running until I find it." You stand up as well and stand in front of him so he needs to stand still. "Why Minho? You said it yourself: you've had all the paths." "I need to find a way out of this place. I can't stand the fact you'll be stuck in here forever. You deserve better then this. That's why I need to keep running."

You can't believe what he just said. He keeps looking, for me?! What does he mean? Everyone needs to escape this place, not only me. "What do you mean?" "You don't get it do you?!" He starts to get frustrated, you can tell by the fact his face is turning red. "I LOVE YOU OKAY?! That's why you need to get out of here! Because I shucking love you, you slinthead! I love you!!!" You don't know what to say about that. Minho, loves you? "Minho I..." He doesn't let you finish your sentence and kisses you hard on your lips. At first you have no idea what to do, but then your wrap your arms around his neck and you kiss him back.

After what seemed to be centuries, he leans back and looks you in your brown eyes. "I love you okay?" At that moment you know, you love him as well. "I love you to Minho." You both smile at each other, before kissing each other again, and again.
