Chapter 25

Ava Pov:

"After of Roc's Funeral"

Ray and I haven't talked all day. We barely even looked at each other. Even when I tried to talk to him, he would just walked away.

To my surprise, he cried at the funeral. When I tried to comfort him, he just push me away.

But I know, I had to keep strong for Anthony. I know I had to keep him up, even though he didn't know what was going on.

I didn't want to break the news to him, cause I know I would hurt him. Maybe I can wait until he is a little bit older, he would understand. But now I got to handle some business.

I had just got finish helping Roc's mom cleaning up. I'm so proud of her. She stayed strong all day, but in her face I can see the pain. Anthony was in the chair playing with his toys.

"He look just like him," she said looking at Anthony.

"I know," I said.

"Did you tell him," she said.

"Not yet. I don't want to see my baby hurt.," I said.

"You are going to have to tell him somehow," she said looking at Anthony.

"I know but right know I got some business to take care of," I said.

"Ava you can't do that. Do you know how dangerous it is. Do you really want Anthony to lose both parents," she whispered.

He isn't, I'm still going to be here for him. I just have to find out what really happened. She somebody is hiding something and I'm going to find out," I said.

Ray Pov:

I really haven't been the same. After being at Roc's funeral, I can't believe it. Like it is really hitting me hard right now.

Ava was trying to be all up under me today and I didn't want her to. Hell she was stronger than me.

I was sitting in my car and having my fourth drink.

Mia Pov:

I was running to the store for Roc's mom, then all of sudden I seen I car that looked just like Ray's. I haven't seen him since after he funeral.

I turn my car back around and parked  behind the car.  Then I realized it was Ray because nobody has them rims. 

As soon as I walked up I smelled alcohol.  I knock on the window and he rolled it down.

"Ray what the hell," I said.

"What do you mean what the hell," he said rolling his eyes.

"Why aren't you with everybody else and why are you drinking," I said.

"I'm grown I can do what I want. What do you want," he said with a attitude.

"Are you drunk," I said.

"No," he said laughing all crazy.

You know what irresolution have time for this. I would call Ava but she is under so much stress right now. I'm just going to have to handle this myself.

"Give me your key," I said.

"No," he said.

I opened up the car door and snatched the keys out the car.

"WHAT THE FUCK. GIVE ME MY DAMN KEYS," he yelled.

Has he lost his damn mind. I think he did because he must not know I will bust his ass right now.

"WHO THE FUCK YOU YELLING? BECAUSE IT AINT ME, YOU GOT THE WRONG ONE," I yelled.

He didn't say anything.

"This don't make no damn. You are a grown man. You have a girl who just lost the father of her child. You are suppose to be there for her. You are suppose to watch over Anthony. You love him right," I said.

By now tears was rolling down his face.

"You have to be there for him. I understand you just lost your boy but you don't have to do this. Act like a grown ass man and handle yourself like one. Now get yo ass up and go get in my car," I said.

Ava Pov:

"Later that day"

After a long day I was tired. Anthony spent a night with Roc's mom because I had some business.

This is the last person I would go to but i need his help. I don't know where to start.

As I pulled up to this tall building, I got nervous. What if he says no.

As I mad my way in the building, I notice everything has change. Everything is all up to date.

"May I help you,"  a lady said behind me.

I turned around.

"I came to see Rick," I said.

"Do you have a appointment," she said.

"No," I said.

All of sudden I he walked up.

"Christina long time no see," he said.

"Don't call me that," I said.

"What do you want," he said.

"I need your help," I said.

"What is I can help you with," he said.
