Missing Daddy (Luke)

hey friends, it's been so long since I updated. I haven't really had motivation to write. I hope this update is good. Leave requests if you have any..

Luke has been away from home on tour for the past 2 months and it was hard on you, not to mention the twins. They were just over a year old and didn't know why their daddy wasn't home. It seemed to bother Alice more than Iris though.

You were Skyping Luke late one night and you heard crying coming from the nursery. You left Luke to get the baby. Of course, it was AJ. You brought her out to where you had the computer. Her eyes lit up and her tears ceased as soon as she saw Luke on the screen.

"Hey Munchkin." Luke smiled and Alice was a ball of giggles.

"She misses you" You told him and explained how she wouldn't sleep because he wasn't there and was trying to babble out 'Dada'.

Then, Iris started to cry as well so you went to get her, taking Alice with you, which meant taking her away from her dada. She then burst into a fit of tears so you had no choice but to leave her in front of the computer as you ran to get her sister. When you came back Luke was playing peek-a-boo and AJ was trying to reach into the screen to get him. After realizing that the girls needed to be fed you went to make them bottles.

"I think I have to go. It's like 3:00 a.m. here and I have a show tomorrow." Luke informed you when you returned from the kitchen.

"Okay well I'll talk to you tomorrow after the show?" you asked

"yeah..that should be fine." he replied with a yawn. "Goodnight girlies" Luke looked at them and blew kisses at the camera.

"Nah nah" Iris gurgled in an attempt to say the word 'goodnight'. Alice on the other hand was quite dissatisfied with the fact that Luke had to go. You closed your laptop and went to put the twins to bed. Iris went down just fine but you were up for at least another 3 hours with Alice.

"Daddy will be back soon love" You tried to soothe her. "I promise" After sinning 'Beside You' and 'Wrapped Around Your Finger' the best you could AJ was finally asleep and you kissed her little head. "I miss him too bug but we'll get through this together." You whispered to her before putting her in her crib and heading to bed yourself.

Like I said I don't know if this is any good but it's something you can read while I come up with some new ideas :)
