As the families arrived, the admired the decorations and took pictures in the photo booth you had set up. They each dropped gifts off on the kitchen table, and set the kids free to play. The older ones gravitated toward cars and the little ones played on the floor with blocks. The boys and their families hung out, the kids playing together and the parents discussing music and business. After a while, Henley spoke up and said, "Mama, can we have cake now?" All of the kids had been patient and content after lunch so the cake was well deserved. "Sure bud" You chuckled and walked into the kitchen, Ashton following. You placed four candles into Henley's cake and Ashton lit them. With Henley sat at the table, you brought the cake over and everyone began to sing Happy Birthday. The kids all cheered as Henley blew out the candles and Axel shouted, "Make a wish!"
After the cake and cookies had been devoured, and all the little ones' hands and faces had been wiped down, it was time to gather the presents for Henley to open them.
Everyone oohed and aahed as Henley opened each gift, and he thanked everyone as he went through them.
Henley's gifts included - Legos, monster trucks and hot wheels, new shoes, new clothes, books, a kids digital camera, and much more.

After the kids had pulled every toy out of its box and played until they were tired, it was time for the boys to collect their kids and head home. The littler ones like Cohen and Koda had passed out a while ago so they were quietly and carefully loaded into the car. You and Ash's kids weren't far behind. Billie fell asleep in her high chair at dinner and Henley and Axel were cuddled up on the couch reading the new books. All together, it was a great party for Henley and a great way for all the families to get together.
