The sound of my alarm was the most irritating sound in the world. Or maybe it wasn't, maybe it was just because it is the sound I wake up to every morning.

I rolled over and slammed my hand down on my phone, dragging my fingers across the cold glass screen.

"Dammit!" My alarm wouldn't shut off. I fumbled my phone through my fingers, trying to unlock it so the obnoxious notice would shut off.

It was still dark outside. Too early for school if you ask me.

I got up slowly and rubbed the tiredness off of my eyes. I slipped on the shirt and hoodie I set out the night before and a pair of grey sweatpants.

I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Took a piss. Did my hair. Put on deodorant and and cologne. All the muscle memory morning routine shit.

I walked back to my room, slipped on some shoes, grabbed my backpack, and went downstairs. I grabbed a banana from the kitchen before walking out the door.

It wasn't cold out. At least not for the middle of December. 60° is still to cold for me. I like 90°. That's a nice temperature.

I finished my banana before I got to the bus stop so I threw the peel in someone's trash can.

"Shit" I mumbled under my breath as I saw the bus already at the bus stop.

I ran as fast as I could to the bus. Damn I need to work on cardio. I shouldn't be out of breath from running a block.

I got on the bus and all the seats were full. It's never this bad.

Almost every seat was take exempt like three towards-

He's here. I've never seen him on the bus before. He's sitting by himself, should I sit there?

My heart started racing again. My palms instantly started to sweat. It felt like someone was pushing against my chest, making it hard for me to breathe.

"Take a seat please" the bus driver yelled back to me.

I hurried and looked around for another empty seat, but I was so frantic I guess I overlooked them.

I felt someone grab my arm before I was slammed down into the bus seat.

"Damn." I rubbed my arm as the bus started rolling.

I looked over to see him. Caden. Damn he was so beautiful with his blue/grey eyes and perfectly tanned skin.

He didn't say anything. He wouldn't even look at me.
