2] Packing ✔️

*bring bring bring* my alarm clock went off and nearly made me pee my pants. It was 7:00am and I needed to get up and ready for this camp thing because the bus comes around at 10:30 and I need to be fully prepared for this. I called over my best friend sam to help me pack, well when she's done packing anyway. I have her a call and let her know to stop by this morning before we leave.

I hoped into the shower knowing that I needed  it seeing the grease on my hairline. I went in shampooed & conditioned my hair with my new hair mask, that way my hair was really soft before we left. I also shaved my legs since it's summer and I will be constantly wear shorts 24/7. Speaking of shorts when I hoped back out of the shower I quickly wrapped a towel around me, and one on my head, washed my face and headed to my dresser. I will be needing many shorts for this trip but I also shoved some sweatpants and jeans in there for when it's cold at night time.
I also threw in some of my favorite tank tops and oversized sweatshirts. I did my makeup and hair and put on a blue tank top with black legging type yoga shorts, and my black and white Nike sneakers. I then started grabbing some make up to put into my bag for this whole time I will be down there, when I hear Sam come knocking on my door.

"Come in" I say

"You sure, I could me a serial killer coming to cut you open alive and you still say come in?" Sam questioned me trying to talk in a deep voice so I would recognize hers.

"Oh no! Please Mr. Cereal please don't murder my fruity pebbles! Please!!" I play along

"I'm gonna getcha' I'm gonna eatcha' for breakfast lunch and dinner" she broke out of her voice at that last part and I hear her yell,

"Dang nabbits!"

"Ok same some on in" I say continuing to pick out my makeup.

"Woah, Jess. That's a big bag o' makeup you got there, heh, heh..."

"Um excuse me miss, I am soooo sorry but I need my supplies unlike someone I could mention. I honestly don't understand how you have perfect and clear skin."

"Awe Jess, Thank you but Jess, really, your beautiful the way you are and if someone doesn't like that about you, they can find a new chick to pick on"

"Thanks broski." (Broski's the name they call each other)

I went up to Sam and gave her a hug. I stood there until she had to shove me off saying there's only 15 minutes left.

I unwrapped my arms from around her and went to my closet to pick out some shoes.

"And I need to pack extra shoes for the trip because you may never know when an unexpected Sabrina Carpenter Concert just may pop up out of know where at our camp!" I told sam

"Keep dreamin' sunny" Sam said with a giggle under her breath.

"I'll have you know,
I never stopped... darkie" i said with a grin.

"Ready?" I asked Sam

"Let's roll." She told me grabbing some of my things.

I grabbed the rest of my things Sam didn't get to, my keys and locked the door shut behind me with one last glimpse of my apartment before I go away for a while from it.

We drive to the bus stop and sit on the bench waiting for the bus to arrive, and since Sam and I's parent don't live far, they are going to be walking down here to pick up the car.

In the distance I could see the bus slowly pulling up to our stop. I have my parents a big hug and said I loved them. I did the same with Sam's parents since they are my parents I consider to be my "2.0's". They are my family too even though we aren't blood related. The bus pulled up and we hoped on. Sam and I  sat together putting out luggage above us. I looked out the window as the bus started moving and waved goodbye to our parents standing by the bench, and eventually my entire town.
See you when I get back. I whispered to myself
