29] Our Getaway Part 3

ANNOUNCEMENT- there is a poolside party on the main deck. Everyone is invited. Enjoy!

Me and Sam immediately looked at each other, smiled, and ran to our rooms. I wasn't even paying attention I got in my room and ran faster than I've ever ran before up the stairs only to slam into something. I fell on my butt and I look up to see Jax only once again shirtless and in swimming trunks.

We've got to stop meeting like his.

I know right? I'm beginning to think you've been planning this all along just to get a look at this.

Right then and there I start blushing as red as a tomato.

I-uh-uh-I..... Have to go get dressed now bye! I said super fast before closing the curtain divider which separates our beds so we get some privacy.

I open but my dresser to pull out my bikini. It is a black and coral strapy back top with high waisted strapy bottoms the same color. It was the most pretty swimsuit outfit I have ever seen. I'm going to look amazing! I thought to myself

So I decided to put it on I put on the bottoms then I went to go put my top on and I had a little problem. I couldn't hook the back of the top. What am I supposed to do now? I walked over to the curtain.
Hey Jax! I raised my voice so he could hear.
Yeah Jess, do you need something? He peaked his head through the curtain.
I have a little problem with my top could you maybe help me? I asked nervously.
Yeah sure.
He opened up the curtain all the way and came over to me. I turned around so he could hook it. He hooked it for me with no problem. Then he put his hand on my shoulder and turned me around. I looked up at him in his Sky Blue eyes. I felt my knees trembling, why am I feeling like this? He leaned down to my face our lips almost touching. I could smell his minty breath and I felt warm to his touch. I felt chills go down my spine, not a bad kind a good one. Like what Cody once made me feel, but in some way even better. I feel more safe and secure, more happy and hopeful, more alive and free. Then he kissed me. Our lips were in sync and I finally let loose. I put my fingers through his Light Brown hair and his fingers were through my Blonde hair. Then he started to slowly trail down my neck but then I pushed him off.
I can't do this, no we can't do this I'm sorry Jax. He stood there in a daze.
Why? Yeah why Jess? I don't even know that answer, just make an excuse.
Uh because the party will start soon. Got to go bye Jax!
I shoved on my lacy see overall and grabbed my phone and sped out of the room faster then you could say my own name.
I went to go meet up with Sam on the docs right before the party. Should I tell her what happened between Jax and I? No she shouldn't she doesn't have to know about this. We finally got to the party and we decided to get some drinks. Then Jax came over.
Hey Sam can we talk? Why does Jax want to talk to Sam?
Uh yeah sure. I'll be back k Jess? I nodded.
Sam came over to me with a smirk plastered on her face. What is up with that?
Uh Sam what happened over there? I asked
Oh nothing. She said while humming a tune.
That girl is hiding something and I want to know NOW! Then I got pushed towards the pool. I closed my eyes waiting for the coldness to take over but it never came. I was being held by a warm heat. I looked up and saw Jax.
Hey uh thanks for helping me. I started to blush.

Anytime Jess. He smiled.

Yeah. I laughed nervously.

Hey Jess I have a question?

What is it Jax?

Will you- he I did to ask before loud strange beeping noises took over

The ship started to tilt left and right. Everybody was trembling back-and-forth trying to keep on top of their feet. And then for all I know a wave crashed over top of me and the warmth I felt was gone.

Hey guys if ya don't know already these chapters were once a big 4000 word chapter. I figured that 4000 words was just too long, so I cut it down into 3 parts.
