Yato's POV:
My heart shattered into a million pieces at the mention of Yukine and Hiyori. And for (Y/N) to ask something like that, was totally unlike her. How did she even know who they were? I sighed. "We'll talk about this when we get back to my shrine." I replied frowning. After a few minutes, we had arrived back at my shrine and their was an uncomfortable silence as we walked in. "Well?" (Y/N) asked. "Well what?" I asked, well aware of what she was talking about. "Please, Yato, tell me who they were." She pleaded. I sighed and pulled out a chair, making her sit on it. I grabbed another chair and sat it across from her, sitting in it. I can't believe I was doing this. I sighed. "Where do I start..." I mumbled. (Y/N) stared at me, her eyebrows furrowed. "Everything started... When I met Hiyori..." I stated. "I was looking for this cat... And then as I was... We locked eyes for a second, I... I didn't know how it happened. But, she could see me. No one else could, only her. And... I was starting to wonder... What made her so special?.. But unfortunately, we both brushed it off until I had spotted the cat in the road. Being the reckless god I am... I ran into the road. As I was nearing the end... I felt someone push me to the side to avoid me being hit by the incoming bus. And... It was Hiyori. I was surprised at first. How did she not get hit?... That's when I realized, her soul had slipped out of her body. Which had meant that at any given time, Hiyori's soul could slip out, now that she was between the human world and far shore. That's how I met Yukine... He became a blessed vessel for me.. Yet.. When Hiyori asked me to sever our ties, Yukine left me.." I explained as a tear dripped down my face. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my chest and I looked up to see (Y/N) sitting on my lap and her head deep in my shoulder. My eyes widened when I heard her crying. "(Y-Y/N).." I whispered and put my arms around her waist. I kissed the top of her head, and we stayed like that the whole night.

❁ (Y/N)'s POV ❁:
I woke up the next morning cuddled up on top of Yato on a chair. He was asleep and I smiled to myself as I kissed his cheek and went to get up when I felt him pull me and he whined. "No.." I rolled my eyes and went to get back up again when he pulled on me tighter and we ended up falling off the chair together and landing right on top of me. "E-EH?! (Y-Y/N)?! ！(◎_◎;)" Yato blushed and looked down at me a bit taken back. He quickly got off me a bit surprised. "U-uh.. S-sorry.. (Y/N).." He muttered. I smiled and got up and chuckled. "I-It's fine.." I say smiling. "So.. What do you say we go get some jobs done eh?" He smirks. I nod with a grin and we head out.

Yato's POV:
I pretended like I was having fun with her. She made me so happy, but, Being with her now, it wasn't making me happy. What Kofuku had told me when I told her me and (Y/N) were together, replayed like a tape in my mind.
