Yato's POV:
I woke up on the cold ground, and groaned. My eyes opened to see (Y/N) not by my side. My eyes widened and I quickly sat up, looking around. "(Y/N)?" I asked aloud. I looked around the shrine. She wasn't anywhere. Where the hell could she be? I checked around town to see her in a shop for clothes. I sigh a breath of relief and walk over to her. I wrap my arms around her and pull her into a hug. "Where were you?" I muttered as I rested my head on hers. "U-Um, W-Who are you?" She asked. My eyes widened. No, it can't be happening again. It can't be fucking happening again! I looked down at her to see a nervous look plastered on her face. "(Y/N)... You can't seriously not remember me! Please!" I exclaimed. She looked at me with those eyes I had grown accustomed to seeing everyday. I loved those things about her. "Um... y-you're hurting me... " she whispered. I pulled away from her in disbelief. "It happened... Again.. " I exclaimed aloud. I stepped away from her wide eyed. No way, was I allowing this to happen again. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out of the store. "H-Hey! W-where are you taking me?!" She asked confused. I was determined for her to remember me. I wasn't going to be forgotten again. I promised her I wasn't going to forget her, even if she forgot me.

"(Y/N).. Do you remember this?" I asked her. She looked around a bit confused. "It was our.. First job together.. " I mumble. She glances at me and returns her attention back around the park. It was where her and I killed that lobster ayakashi (phantom). "I'm sorry... I don't... " She exclaims with a frown. I begin to grab her hand but she steps back. "Before you drag me to another place so I can get my memory back... I have a question." She states narrowing her eyes at me. I nod and pull my hand back, letting her speak. "What was I to you, before I lost my memory?.." She asks. I look at her emotionless. Of course she would be clueless. She lost her memory. "You were my regalia..." I answer after a few moments. She straightens her shoulders. "Okay then," She exclaims. "Let's go.."
