Ian's POV.

You couldn't cut through the tension in the room with a knife if you tried. I was putting the twins to bed after a hectic day of running around. I could feel his piercing gaze on me. I've tried to ignore him but it isn't working.

"Goodnight Jimmy," I said kissing his temple. "Goodnight uncle Ian," he said as he snuggled into the sheets. I turn to the other bed on my left. "Goodnight Timmy," I kissed his temple as well. He kissed my cheek before settling in bed. Always the charmer. "Goodnight uncle Ian."

I made sure to turn on their nightlight before leaving and made my way downstairs. Mason was in the living room watching TV. I sat on the other end of the couch he sat on pretending to watch the movie.

"Are we now going to be awkward all the time?" I asked.

"I want you."

Well I hadn't expected that. I was tongue tied. But some part of me wasn't hesitant to respond, making me blush as I shifted where I sat. I was ready for the usual awkward talk. He was surprisingly straight forward.

"Okay-"I trailed off when I heard the front door open and Rollan and Logan walked in.

"Hi guys, how was your day?" Logan asked smiling. Well he looked like he had a pleasant time. Rollan walked behind him and grabbed him by the waist, pulling him back against his chest.

"Yeah. The twins are already in bed." I said standing up, glad that I had escaped breaching an awkward subject. I've had too many awkward moments today. Also, I don't think I can make any rational decisions at the moment.

"Thanks guys," Rollan said kissing his husband on the cheek and headed for the kitchen.

"I have to go," I hugged my best friend and walked out the door. Seconds later Mason ran out.

"I'll drop you off," he said pointing to his car.

"What makes you assume I don't have my car," I stop raising a brow at him. "Well I haven't seen it out front. Where you always park it." I nodded and continued to his car.

He stopped in my driveway a few minutes later after the silent drive to my place. I got out and he walked me to my front door.

"Are we going to talk about this?" I looked up at him, meeting his grey eyes. I've never seen eyes so gray.

"Okay, I want you too." I said in exasperation.

The next thing I know we were tearing away our clothes making our way to my room. I just hope I don't regret this.
