Ian's POV.

"You what?"

I've just told Gavin about my night with Mason and the note I'd left him this morning. He didn't sound too pleased about the note part.

"I'm sure it'll be okay. Mason knows me well, I don't want anything serious right now. But I still want him," I said with a shrug.

Gavin shook his head, "What makes you think he'll accept a simple fling?"

"Come on, who can turn down this?" I gestured my body making him release a sigh of frustration. "Okay, okay don't get your panties in a twist. We'll talk about it and see where we both stand. Then we'll take the next step from there."

"Yeah. You should do that...but I still don't get why you don't want to date him. If it was me I'd jump at the chance."

I ignored him since we'll just argue more. And I'm too tired for that.

"Are you coming to the get together tonight?" I asked instead.

"Of course, we'll drive there from the house. It isn't till eight, right?"

"Yeah," I sighed, "I'm just scared of how awkward it'll be with Mason there."

"Now you want to talk about it,"

"Of course. Logan will notice and I...I don't even know," I said with another sigh.

"Stop stressing over it. You're both grown men. Logan and Rollan have to respect your decision," Gavin advised sitting next to me.

"Yeah, he's not one to judge. He got married at eighteen...to a twenty-six year old." I lay my head on his shoulder.

"You do realize Mason is also eight years older than you. So your point of Logan going for an older man is moot."

"Oh shut up!" I slapped his arm as he chuckled.
