#17 - Darkness and Shadows

The person then covered my mouth.

"Shhh. Don't scream. I'm here to help you. My name is Jeric by the way. And I'm guessing your name is An?" he sounds so sweet. But yet he can be dangerous.

"My name is actually Angela, But you can call me either An or Angie" I told him. He then started untying the ropes that were tied around my arm and legs. "Thanks." I said. He shook his head said saying 'no problem'.

"Well C'mon, what are we still doing here? Let's go." I asked walking up and trying to find the door. But he quickly grabbed my wrist pulling me back.

"You can't leave. They won't let you. I've been here for a week now. No matter how many times I tried to leave they would always spot me down and put me back here. And they would always torture me." he explained.

"Oh, well what are we gonna do then?" I asked.

"We just have to wait and see where this takes us." he said.

I was inside a dark room alone. Well I thought I was alone but I guess I wasn't. I moved my jaw sync to get the tape of my mouth to speak.

"Who's there?" I asked. I then spotted a figure moving around me in circles.

"Don't worry pretty little thing I won't hurt you." it sounded like a guy. His voice started to creep me out. But then yet his accent is so calming.

"Who are you? And what do you want from me?" I asked trying to wiggle out of the knots I was tied into.

"I'm Cody. And don't worry love I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to help you. I've actually been here for the past week now with my brother Jeric, but he's in the other room." he started explaining as he started untying the knots that were tied onto my arms and legs.

I stopped in place as I heard a scream from the other room. Then the screaming stopped.

"That sounded like Angela." I said.

"I guess she saw my brother." I started to laugh.

"This is not funny. I wanna get out of here." I said. I wonderlously looked around the small dark room. Hoping to find an escape.

"Love just calm down. We'll get out of here." he said. Trying to calm me. Its not the right time to calm me down. I'm like practically kidnapped here.

"When are we gonna get out of here? I wanna go home." Tears then started to run down my face as Cody cupped his hand on my cheeks and wiped the tears off my face.

"Don't worry I'll protect you." he said. I barely know this guy but yet I feel like I can trust him.

"My name is Emely by the way." I stiffened up knowing I am now protected.

"That's a pretty name." I nodded. The door then opened as light shined on a spot.

Me and Cody stayed quiet in the dark corner.

"Where did the girl go?" I heard a man ask.

"The other girl is gone too." Another man added.

"Search the whole place" I heard a third voice say.

As all the Three men's left me and Cody got up quietly and walked over to where Angela and Cody's brother could be. We both saw them in the corner.

"C'mon let's get out of here." I whispered yelled making sure that the other people didn't hear me but I made sure that my friends heard what I said.

The door swung open as me and Jeric stayed quiet in a corner. It was dark so they really didn't see us.
