They looked at me and then to the door where Luna was being kept. "Okay, but if she makes a mess she leaves." Dad said. U opened the door and hugged Luna, happy to know that I can officially keep my friend. She was taken back, but stayed since she couldn't hugg back.

Luna's POV [One Month Skip]
To say that life has improved ever since I've been empowered to be a wolf owned by my best friend, it would be a lie. Trust between parents and daughter have improved. I've been known to roam the apartment, so now no one screams when they see me. But today marked somthing new. Ever since I woke up, mother and father have been having a happy face. It was Monday, what could they possibly be happy about? Melody left for school, and I was called in the living room. "Sapphire, uh Luna, anyway. Your gonna follow melody to school. See what the school will, we want to test this before we can give melody somthing." Mother said. "We feel that your should be with her at all times to protect her. There's been this bully named Kevin she's keeps taking about." Father said. I started to growl at the name, knowing who it belonged to. "You know him too?" Mother asked. I nodded. "Is he bad as she said he is?" Father asked. I nodded once more. "Then you need to go." They said together as father opened the door and I bolted out. Once down and out I ran as fast as I wanted. I felt free when I ran, wind whizzed past me, cars, even people. I didn't think normal wolves could run this fast. Finally halfway towards school I saw melody's bus. I ran towards it, but maintained a distance. Didn't want her to see me, or she'll be picked on for a wolf following her. At school I watched as she got off. I forgot I was a wolf and started to walk in with her, calling her to hold the door for me. But all that came out was barks, painfully reminding me of reality. She watched as I came to terms with reality.
