The Cat In the Kennel

Luna's POV
When they tried to put me in I punched and kicked with all my might. But it got tight again and was hard to breath. They helped me into the truck and took off the thing. It had many other cages and some had animals in it. They weren't even trying to escape. At least I will. I backed up and hit the door. Didn't move. Tried again. Not even a dent. I kept hitting till a voice spoke up. "No! No! It can't end like this!" She said scratching at her door. "Stop worrying cat! I'll get you and me out!" I tried to reassure her. "Listen my names Luna, and I'm gonna me and you out." I said. It sounded like she in the cage next to me. "You can't, Luna!" She snapped. "Look, unless you have some kind of superpowers. You can't get out of these things." The cat explained. I looked in the direction of her voice. Sure I herd of these things, but i never experienced this. "Listen to me okay? We are being taken to a place where humans go animal shopping, all right?" I looked at her. Animal shop? Me? As large as I am, I don think they'll put me in a animal shop. "And this is what humans do. They always pick the cute ones. The ones that look like you, Luna. But the rest of us never come back out." She explained. "I don't think I'm going to a animal shop. I'm too big to be a pet. I think I'm going to the zoo, cuase I'm a wolf. And I can't be released to the wild." I explained softly. The truck hit a bump and we both jumped in the air. After a few seconds it stopped. I listened as footsteps walked towards my direction. When I thought they were gone, they opened the door and put the right thing around my neck as they dragged me into a place that looked like a zoo. I herd a gun go off, and instinctly jumped. But I fell as I realized that it was a safari sleep dart.

When I woke up I was in a room that was poorly designed to look like forest that wolves would resign in. A zookeeper came in with some raw meat. "Eat up." She said in a happy voice that humans do to dogs. I stared to bark. "Let me out!" I yelled at her. "Yes! Your can bark!" She said.
