Chapter 11

(:Leos P.O.V:)

We walk into school and I still have my hand around Hazels shoulders.We walk to our first class and when we're at the door I ask,"You wanna next to each other?" She looks around and then nods,"Sure why not."

We head all the way to the back and get our text books out.I turn to Hazel and I see that she's glancing around as if looking for someone."What's wrong?" I ask.She just shakes her head and says,"The girls aren't here." I just nod.

A few minutes before the bell ring the girls come with their hands interlaced with some boys.I hear Hazel mutter,"Yup no surprise there always with their boyfriends." They don't even acknowledge us much less Hazel."Did you guys get in an argument or something?" I ask."Nah we just don't talk as much as we used to since they got their boyfriends." She says.I can tell she's sad but doesn't say anything.Finally the teacher came in and started to take roll.

First hour is finally over and we walk out.Jasmine and the others come to us,"Hi guys" the girls say together and the guys just nod.We say hi back and they leave towards the other class.I look at Hazel and she just rolls her eyes."They always hang out with them every weekend.Cant they take a break its so annoying."

And she walks towards class.I go and catch up with her and we head to class together.We walk in and we head towards the back and sit down.The teacher just blabs about history while we take notes.The teacher then tells us to answer all the questions on the board until the end of class and we do as we're told.

Hazel finishes and then I do a few minutes later.She fishes a book out of her backpack and starts reading.I just sit there fiddling with my fingers bored.Hazel turns to me and whispers,"I'm bored" "Yea me too...Hey what are you doing for your birthday Saturday?" I ask."eh just going to dinner with the kids my mom and my nana.Then just have cake at the house." "Are they going?" I ask cocking my head in the direction where the girls are.She just shrugs.

"I don't know I guess I'll ask them after school." I just nod.And the bell rings signaling it's time for our next class.

It's already lunch and I'm real hungry.I wait for Hazel at her locker while she puts in her text books.Then we head to mine and I do the same.Finally we head to the cafeteria and get food.I get two slices of pizza with hot cheetos and a Dr.pepper.Hazel gets a cheeseburger and fries with a cherry Dr.Pepper.We head to a table and start eating.

Jasmine and the girls come to our table with their boys Josh,David and Arturo behind them.They sit down and say hi we say hey back. "So how have you guys been?" Marisol ask."I'm doing fine." Hazel says. "I'm fine." I say."and how are you guys?" Hazel ask."We're doing good.",Lizbeth say.Then they just starts talking and leave us out.

I turn to Hazel and she just shrugs and eats.Soon we finish and throw our trash away and head to our next class.

School finally finishes and we head outside.We walk towards my truck.Hazel stops,"Hey I'm going to talk to the girls I'll be right back okay." "Are you sure?" "Yea just wait for me in the truck okay." I nod and head towards my truck.
