10 | Rough waves

I take me a while once my eyes focus on the ethereal cerulean blue heaves rolling all around the island. A huge mansion was visible, looking more like a Victorian castle with a modern touch.

A few of the students gasped and dragged their friends out of the bus. I found myself out, stretching my neck as the fluttery warmth of the sun fell against my face.

It felt like peace.

" You like it? " I hear a whisper beside my ear. I turn to find Jungkook eyeing the island with a dreamy look. I smiled.

" That's what you say to me after you dislocate my shoulder? You were sleeping on me the whole ride here bro,"

" This can be our honeymoon spot," he winked cheekily, ignoring my mini-rant while I send him a glare.

" Not even in your dreams pretty boy," I muse, nudging him with my elbow.

The coordinator had settled on letting us ride on water bikes across to the island.

Wow broke me can't relate.

" Find your partners kids, we'll be right behind you guys so none of you decide to drown midway. The most it'll take you is 7 minutes,"

I look around and girls find their best friends, and potential boyfriends while dragging them along.

"The last one to get to the port is a rotten egg," he exclaimed. Jungkook and I give each other a knowing look as we start running.
The warm sea salt air makes my whole heartache as I smile wider.

" JEON JUNGKOOOOK," I shrill behind him. Jungkook turns his head and sticks out his tongue playfully, smile fading as I overtake him and run faster. My hair whipped behind me, strands wildly flying around once I hop onto one of the ready water bikes. A bunch of the other bikes was already speeding their way to the island.

I was practically giggling like a child eyeing the water scooter. Like the crystalline clear water, it was a pretty shade of teal.
A pair of arms wrap around my waist as I laugh heartily.

" Jungkook, I'm going to go fast. Your ears are gonna fall of-" I frown as I see a pair of amused eyes staring at me.

" TAEHYUNF? WAIT for WHA-" before I can jump off the bike, Taehyung chuckles, his arms reaching the handles, setting the bike into a zip across the water. One moment I'm excited about my ride and the next my back is pressed against Taehyung.

" Who toLd you to sit here? WHAT ABOUT LIN? " I was practically screeching against the sound of splashing water.

" You looked like you were having too much fun," He said. I roll my eyes and shove Taehyung away from the steering, allowing my self to do it instead.

" This is my ride, so you either jump off or stay out," I say over my shoulder, favoring the "jumping off" option.

" Well, that's fine by me," He says, leaning his head on my back while his arms slip back to my waist as if they were meant to be there.

I try shaking him off, but to no avail and soon ignore his presence, turning my head to see Jungkook on a similarly modeled scooter with black edges. He seemed pretty ticked off but slowly tails behind us. Soon enough Iet the scooter slow as it reaches a beautiful port, filled with small boats, as well as a sandy beach entrance. A few assistants begin scurrying out of the huge mansion and begin to help the students back up on their feet. Meanwhile, I'm too eager to get away from Taehyung's unwelcomed presence that I practically crawl onto the dock, nearly slipping headfirst onto the wood.
