Hi! It's Bubby! Long time no see! This story has been up for almost two years now, and it's got a lot of attention. After so long, I've decided to have it edited. With how much my writing's improved, that would take a lot of time. So instead of basically rewriting it, I've gone back and fixed some mistakes or things that just didn't sound right. Alright! Thank you for listening! I hope you enjoy the edited version of my story just as much as you enjoyed the original!

(Bobby's PoV)

I pulled back my bow, eyeing the turkey that was several hundred yards away. Then I let go of the arrow, and it sliced through the air and hit the turkey in the chest, resulting in a loud squawk. Yes! I'm gonna have a feast tonight! I thought as I jumped over bushes and came to the downed fowl, which had a small pool of glistening red blood around it. I liked my chops and knelt down, sniffing the turkey.

"It's not too young. Good," I said to myself as I carefully took the arrow out of the turkey's chest. I put the blood stained arrow back in my quiver and took up the turkey in my paw. Then I walked back to my camp, tail swinging side to side with a kind of swagger.

Half way back to camp I stopped to sniff the air. There was a new smell in the air. Something... metallic? I shrugged my furry shoulders and kept walking. It was probably some lost campers or a car passing by on the only road for miles.

When I got back to camp I tossed my bow and quiver over by my moss bed. Then I sat on a log by the dark, ash-filled fire pit and took out my knife. I began to skin the turkey, looking up every once in awhile just to be cautious. Once I was finished skinning the turkey I lit a fire and skewered the turkey on a stick. Next I put the turkey over the fire and sat back on the log. My eyes inspected the turkey as it cooked, browning all the while.

All of a sudden I heard a stick break. My head swiveled and my wolf-like eyes flashed around into the gathering darkness. Nothing....but my furr still stood on end. I tiptoed over to my bow and quiver then put my quiver on and taking out an arrow from it. Slowly I crept out of the line of the fire light and into the woods, eyes alert, muscles tensed, and nose sniffing avidly. The same scent I smelled earlier drifted to my nostrils. It was surely a metallic smell. I smelled it every time I came close to a city.

I sniffed the air once more. There was another scent that mingled with the other. It smelled of blood. Where is it coming from? I asked myself, sniffing the air in different areas, trying to decipher which direction it originated. Ah. I finally figuring out which direction it came from, the south.

Walking silently through the forest, I had my bow at the ready at all times. Another sudden snap of a stick. I flung my head around, but saw nothing so I kept walking. The scent was getting stronger, and slightly changing. It didn't really smell of blood anymore. It smelled of wounds and a fluid I couldn't figure out. It couldn't be blood. I knew the smell of blood.

Spotting a pool of blue liquid a few feet away from me, I walked over and knelt down over it. I sniffed it and dipped a claw in it, then put the liquid on my tongue. It tasted somewhat like blood, but more..... metallic and rustic. At the corner of my vision I saw more of it, so I followed the trail into a clearing. My eyes tracked the trail to a boulder. Sitting on top of that boulder was a giant metal robot. It was grinning at me, throwing a big glass bottle of the same blood-like fluid up and down in its hand. I stared at it and it continued to sneer at me.

"Hello," it said slyly, looking me up and down, "Not a human are we. Or an Autobot. Hmm what shall I do with you?" It walked over to me, it's big metal feet making a thud on the ground every step it took.

My senses suddenly came back to me and I pulled my bow tight. It looked surprised at this, but also amused.

"You can't kill me creature, I am metal," it said, banging its free hand on its metal chest. I pointed my bow at its eye instead. "Ah. It's clever, but not clever enough." It began stepping towards me again, suddenly picking me up before I could react. I dropped my bow on the ground far below, and I tried to reach out to it to no avail. In horror I looked back at the giant's metal face. Its head almost looked like a giant bucket, and its mouth had giant fangs similar to mine, but instead of bone they were shiny and lustrous metal that reflected my tense, distorted image. Its eyes were blood red.

"What do you want with me," I asked it, my voice quivering. It chuckled.

"I want to use you as bait for the Auto-," it was about to finish but a giant swirling circle appeared into thin air. It was at least as tall as the giant holding me. Out of the swirling circle came four other giant metal robots.

This was too much for me. My heart was skipping too many beats. I tried to slow it down by thinking happy thoughts, but it didn't work. This was real.

I looked at the other giant robots. One of them was only two times the size as I. Another was yellow and black. There was a big bulky green one. And lastly there was a red and blue one. It was the tallest of them all.

"Megatron," said the tallest, which I assumed was the leader," let go of the...... human?" It looked at my furry face with confusion.

"Yes, I know. It's not human. And I will not let the creature go unless you hand yourself over," replied the one that was holding me in his grasp. I looked at the one holding me, then the others. This robot can't win, even if he had his other hand free of me. Apparently the leader of the other robots knew that too because he transformed his hand into a sword.

"Never," he said in a deep, decided voice.

"Very well," said the one called Megatron. He suddenly squeezed me and I let out a yelp.

"AAAAAAGGGGHHHHH," I yelled in agony. My vision blurred and I could barely make out what was going on. The leader transformed his other hand into some sort of gun and shot at Megatron, who yelled in pain before transforming into some kind of jet and flying away.

I fell to the ground, then heard a sickening snap below me. Rolling over onto my back, I watched as the leader knelt over me and picked me up in his metal hand. The last thing I saw before I passed out was the leaders bright blue eyes that very much reminded me of the rolling ocean.

(Optimus PoV)

I watched as Megatron dropped the creature on the ground, creating a large crack when it hit the earth. Then Megatron flew off into an open groundbridge.

"Call Ratchet for a groundbridge," I said as I ran over to the creature. I heard Arcee call for a groundbridge as I knelt down over the creature.

Its eyes were silver and it had long black hair with red tips, so I assumed it was a female. She had beautiful silver fur and ears and a tail. She also had a snout similar to the one on what the humans called a dog. I looked down at her neck to see a beautiful necklace shaped like a crescent moon. Picking her up delicately and stood up, my eyes never leaving her unconscious, furry form. I turned around to see a groundbridge and walked through it with the others, looking at the beautiful creature. Wait, I thought, Am I falling for a creature I have no clue about? Is she even sentient?
