"I'm here. What'd you wanna talk about?"
Chapter 3
He took in a deep breath and began. "I wanna get something off my chest..." he paused. "I don't know how to start this but, I love you Violet and I still do."
I was in shock. I just started at him wide-eyed but I couldn't believe it and I wouldn't believe it. He was my best friend since kindergarden.
"Hahaha Tristan! YOU GOT ME THERE FOR A SECOND! NICE ONE!" I started laughing pretending to wipe a tear away. After my little laugh out, I looked back up at him to only find out he wasn't joking. Well that is awkward. "Oh.." was all I said, not knowing what else to say anyway.
"I loved you ever since we met back all the way in kindergarden. We got along so well and we still do now but I always just wish I could go back in time to change what I'd done nine years ago." He said. His voice was soft.
I was already on the verge of crying when he told me he loved me since kindergarden but what made my tears finally pour out was the last part of the last sentence he said. 'I always just wish I could fo back in time to change what I'd done nine years ago'.
"Tristan.. I gotta go." I said crying and got up and ran back home not daring to turn around.
To: Skylar
Hey can you come over? I have something very urgent to tell you it's about Tristan :(
From: Skylar
Ya I'll be over in 5 :)
I just sat patiently on the couch waiting for Skylar to arrive. Not four minutes has passed and she had already arrived.
"I'm here! Vi! Are you okay? What happened?!" She asked as soon as she saw me. I guess it's because I was a mess and my eyes were red and puffy from crying.
I motioned her to follow me to the couch and that's when I began to explain. I took in a deep breath and began. "Well, nine years ago..."
A/N: I know I know SUPER short chapter. I'm sorry! :( but I had to leave a cliff hanger but what do you think happened between Violet and Tristan nine years ago?
