Chapter 5
Violet's POV
I packed my notebooks waiting for second period bell to ring. While doing so, Ms. Sherlan, our math teacher, got up in front of the class.
"Okay class, before you go to second period, just a reminder that projects are due next due next week and if there are any lates, ten percent wi-" She was cut off by the bell. "Will be taken off for both you and your partner. Okay. Class dismissed."
Yup. She said partner. Guess what? Lucky me, I'm partnered with Tyler whatever his last name is that I don't give a fuck about. Thing I don't get was why he's in both my history and math class. I mean why couldn't Sky or Tristan be in the same classes as me. It's not fair. Well then again, life's not fair so deal with it. Anyways, obviously Ms. Sherlan had partnered me up with Tyler because if I had a choice to choose, I would most definitely not have chosen him. Why was I oh-so-lucky to have Tyler as my partner. Gawd. I'd have to admit, he's kinda hot, but he's such a dick. Has no respect for anyone whatsoever. I just hate his attitude. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I whipped myself around to face that person. Oh look. Speak of the devil, here he is.
"Hey. We're going to my house after school. We have a lot of work to do." He gave me a piece of paper with his address and number followed by a wink and with that, he turned and walked away without giving me time to protest. Jerk.
"So. I heard you have Tyler as your math partner huh?" Jaysie said lowering her head still looking up at me and wagging her eyebrows while biting on her lower lip and smirking, giving me a perverted look.
I bursted out laughing. That was the most funniest face anyone could make. "EW JAYSIE! NO! DON'T THINK LIKE THAT!" I said through bits of laughter. Jaysie was my friend since sophomore year. She is such a nice girl, caring and funny too.
"Why? Everybody in the school thinks he's gunna be the 'new' bad boy style of Tristan and every girl is drooling for him. You know, Tristan might have a thing coming for him. If he doesn't watch out, he won't be Mr. Popularity King." She said as we made our way to the cafeteria. Just as we were about to push the doors open, Chantelle pulled me back.
"Bitch you better stay away from Tyler. Nicole doesn't like it when there are bitches like you crawling all over her man. You better watch your step. One wrong move and you can say buh-bye." Chantelle said and gave me a bitch smile and walked away with Holly by her side.
That was just two-thirds of the bitch group but trust me, I didn't want to be his partner and I am definitely not planning on getting in bed with him. I felt bad for Jaysie because she was just standing there really awkwardly watching what just happened.
"Well, uh, I'll catch ya later." Jaysie chirpped and skipped to her table of friends.
"So...?" Sky asked when I made my way over to our table.
"So what?" I asked back honestly being confused.
"The thing with you and Tyler!" She exclaimed.
Ew! No way in hell is there a thing between me and that jerk. "Nothing! Ew Sky. I can't believe you would think that there's something between me and him. Like no. Like can you not." I exasperated. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is gunna happen between me and him.
"Can I please? But okay okay, whatever you say." She sighed putting her hands up showing defeat.
"Thank you."

This day just keeps getting longer and longer. Luckily it was last period. You see what I mean when I say the day just keeps getting longer and longer? This was only last period! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS!? Last period was gym and right now, I'm not so fond of it only because Tristan was in this class. Well, not really. You know how he's the popular athletic hottie of the school, yah, he has a spare this period and so he's the coach's assisstant/helper.
