Moments Like This

I leaned against Vision as we watched a movie at the theater. I smiled to myself. So much had happened in the past two months.

Vision and I had found we agreed on almost every topic under the sun. Of course we didn't agree with everything.

For example, I was completely convinced that Tony was nothing but an annoying jerk. Vision, on the other hand, was completely at ease around Tony and liked to hang out with him. Probably because he was smart enough to trip Tony up every time.

The movie ended and we made our way out of the crowded theater. We slowly explored the strip mall that held the theater. We even walked into a clothing store.

I scanned the dress rack with careful eyes before seeing something worthy of my attention.

I grabbed it and held it up for a better look. It was white that faded to red at the bottom and it reached past my knees and the sleeves stopped half way to my elbow. It had a high collar and would look gorgeous with my favorite necklace. I checked the price tag.

$29.99

I gasped, that was an amazing deal. I turn to show it to Vision who was just coming back from the men's department carrying a bow tie. I showed him the dress and he nodded in approval. We checked out and he bought the dress for me despite my protests.

We stopped under a lamp post on the way home. The street was deserted with only a few lighted windows.

"Wanda..." Vision said softly.

"Yes?" I replied, trying to hold in my excitement.

"I love you very much." He professed.

"I love you too." I said, leaning closer and closer.

"I hope you'll give me permission to see you more often?" He asked hopefully,

"Yes. Yes, I will."

He took me in his arms and kissed me under the lamp post.

It was moments like this that I finally felt at home.

We broke apart and I smiled. With his arms still around me, I lay my head on his chest and we just stayed there for several minutes.

It was moments like this, that I wanted to stay there forever.

We finally broke apart and continued our walk home through the chilly evening air.

It was moments like this, I wished I was in his arms once more.

A/N

Wasn't that the sweetest first kiss ever!?

*teary eyed* my little Wanda's growing up....

Whatever...

Lol jk. How was it?

The song in the media doesn't really match but in the song it said she kissed him under a lamppost which was what inspired this kiss scene so I included it. It's also pretty.

 It's also pretty
