Piper's POV:

"Piper, are you sure you're feeling alright? You don't look so good. Perhaps I had better call the doctor," Jason rubbed his wife's back.

I doubled over, moaning. "I think I'm gonna be sick," I groaned. Jason grabbed my hand and pulled me over to the toilet, where I was promptly sick. It was about 9am in the morning, and I had been having stomach pains and puking since I had woken up at 7am. The stomach pains had been bugging me all week, but I still didn't want to go to the doctor. But today, the pains were especially bad.

"Yep, you're going to the doctor," Jason decided, making his way over to the phone.

I continued to hug my stomach, in plenty of pain.

"You're appointment is in 30 minutes. They weren't very busy today, so they said you could come. I'll drive you over, but then I'm afraid I'm going to have to go to the office, because there's a big case going on. Okay, Pipes?" my husband asked.

I just nodded and groaned some more.

"Come on, beauty queen. Let's get you ready," he said, giving me a hug.

I leaned into him gratefully.

At the Doctor

Finally, the nurse called out my name, Piper Grace. Sighing, I managed to stand and make my way through the waiting room into the doctor's office. My stomach had begun to feel a little better as the day progressed, so my mood was slowly improving.

"Hello, my dear, I am Doctor Hatfield. I take it you are Piper Grace?"

I nodded. He gestured for me to sit in the big chair. I did so, and waited.

"So, Piper, what is the problem today?" He asked.

I told him I'd been having stomach pains and cramps, as well as feeling slightly nauseous, for the past week. He hmm-ed and mmhm-ed, typing this information onto his computer. Finally, he turned to me.

"Would you mind rolling up your shirt? I'm going to check your heartbeat," the doctor asked me, getting out his stethoscope. I laid back, rolling up my shirt. He listened intently for about half a minute, and then with a puzzled look on his face he went back to his computer. I sat up, letting my shirt fall. He pondered everything for a few moments and then looked at me, a smile on his face.

"Congratulations, Piper Grace. You're pregnant," he announced.

I sat for a second, stunned. I'd wanted a baby for ages, ever since my best friend Annabeth and her husband Percy had had their daughter two years ago. Jason and I had been on split minds, but now it was really happening. I jumped up.

"Oh my gods. Oh my gods," I said to myself. I couldn't believe it. The doctor gestured to the door, handing me a phamplet. I glanced at the cover-A Guide To Pregnancy-What's Normal and What's Not.

I thanked him, and quickly left. I sat in my little silver car for a few moments, before pulling out my phone in a dreamy state, dialling my husband.
