Chapter 10

6 months later:
I have started high school! Piper is still going to that daycare service place and is getting bigger by the day! I am improving in school now that Piper can sleep through the night, and I started a online business selling baking mixes. I am making lots of money from it which is awesome to support my little girl. Luke hasn't called me or texted me ever since Piper was born, so I'm not going to talk to him. But, the fun doesn't last forever. Just yesterday my dad came home from the doctors with sad news. He said at dinner that he was diagnosed with stage 3 prostate cancer. I was so devastated, I mean, my dad is my life.
8 months later:
Today my dad passed away and it was also my last day of school. I am completely devastated. I don't know where I'll go, or how I will pay for everything.
2 months later:
My aunt Darice has moved in with me in my original home with her two little girls. I am so happy because now Piper will have someone to play with. Piper has also said her first word, which was momma. I was so proud of her, and she is definitely a mommy's girl! Me and Anna are still besties, and we hang out as much as possible.
