Percy's POV.
Percy didn't want Annabeth to leave.
He wanted to stay with her in his cabin, talking, and enjoying each other's company, like they did in the stables of the Argo II. But Annabeth made her point strong. If her cabin mates woke up and she wasn't there, they'd go on a man hunt to find her. And when they did find her, she'd never hear the end of it. Her being in Percy's cabin.
"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," Percy said. They got out of Percy's bed and Percy walked Annabeth to the door. Politeness 101. Annabeth grinned at Percy, her gray eyes were twinkling in the moonlight, through the window. "I love you." And with that, Annabeth planted a kiss on Percy's lips. He wrapped his arms around Annabeth's waist and she put her arms over Percy's shoulders. And they stayed in that position for a long time.
