Dauntless Love

Chapter 2

Tris (POV)

The announcements where over as Chris and I stay frozen. I continue being paralysed while Four walks towards me.I never realised his muscular arms and how his smile makes me feel like, despite all the anger and violence, he can also be sympathetic and handsome.What am I doing? Snap out of it Tris!

" Never thought I would be training a weakling like you." Four says, hitting one of my nerves.

Without second thought i replied 'Well i never thought i would have a shitty instructor like you.'

'Good to see you all prepared Tris.' Four replied completely ignoring my response which angered me even more but i managed to stay calm as soon as Chris gave me a exaggerated look to alert me that we are in a formal meeting.Four turned to Chris's instructor and began to have a conversation with her. While eavesdropping their complicated conversation, i managed to pick up few things, that her name was Marlene.

The hall now sounds like the whole zoo just entered as it is filled with many variety of voices. I don't know what happened but i am beginning to feel dizzy so i walked over to Chris and told her to meet me at my house later as i feel like going home early. I now begin to make my way out of the ahl and into the narrow hallways as someone's cold hands touch my wrist. I turn around and see that it was Four so i quickly yanked my wrist out of his hand.

'What do you want?' I ask, looking at his eyes which didn't look back at all, it had a tint of blue in it which never realised.

'Why are you leaving so early Tris?'Four says with a  little smirk.

'It's none of your Business.' I respond with a angered then to my voice. Ever since i was little, i was never good with boys. I dont know why but, it was just a habit, i used to like sounding bold and brave which the boys didnt like so i just gave up making making male friends. This is  just another reason why i wouldn't get along with Four or not that i am getting along with him even now.

'Since its very comforting to hear that I don have muscle and that i am weak.'

'Look, I didn't mean to get into your bad side but i just said what i thought and if you really want to get over this test than you should listen to my advice. In the end of your day, its your choice if you want to move forward or stay where you are and be good for nothing.' He ended his speech with a big exhale.

Just as i was going to reply, Eric interfered.

'Well look who it is, the famous Four.Oh and also, my Tris...' He let his words trail off and grabbed my waist, attempting to kiss me but Four grabbed him soon as i yanked Eric to his stomach with my elbow.

'Leave her alone, its between me and you, why are you dragging her in?' He asked Eric who was covering his stomach with his arms trying to bare the pain.

'I never dragged her in, she was dragged in ages ago.When she was going to Dauntless school we were together until i cheated on her.' He said looking at me with a smirk as if that was a thing to be proud of. 'Well look at you Tris, all grown up and become more beautiful as well. Now you know I am single so i am always here for you.'He stopped with a big grin and his eyebrows raised.

'I...' I  started but was distracted by the glare Four was giving me, it looked as if he was....j..jealous.'I am not looking for anyone right now and if i am, i will never in my life will go out with a jerk like you again.' I said with all my might within me. I also felt a little happy to see Four chuckle a little.

'You've certainly become more brave but i will make you come to me and beg to be together with me, just watch.'He ended his sentence and turned around to his student.

'Well, i guess i don't need to worry about your braveness. You've got a lot of that, i have great hopes for you Tris Prior.' He says, looking at me with a grin.

I slowly smile back as i have a little confidence that Four and I would actually get along and would have a good month training together.

A/N: I hope you guys like this chapter, I am sorry it took me a long time to update but here it is..... I know that this isn't exactly short but the next chapter will definitely be short.
