Hello, it's me.

Jk you guys don't wanna hear about me, you're here for Caelia and Aramis aren't ya, you cheeky dogs.

I would be too.. LOL.

But seriously guys, 250+ reads and 30+ votes? I'm crying.

Also if any of you are having trouble imagining Aramis, I like to think of him as kind of resembling Sam Hunt, the country singer. THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED AS ARAMIS IS EXACTLY LIKE HIM. Aramis is a little younger (sam is 31 in case you guys didn't know cuz I sure didn't), a little more handsomely perfect (though you can't get much better than Sam Hunt) and rugged, you know, just change up the features a little to fit how I describe him. But keep Sam's height of 6'4" ;)

If you already had a picture of Aramis in your head and you're like "wtf Rosie Sam Hunt is NOT ARAMIS." That's Gucci too :) just thought I'd share someone who reminds me of him.

Oh and this chapter is dedicated to @kaitscraze for being such a great reader and coming back to read and vote on every chapter :)

Chapter Six

— • —

Aramis leads me down the hallway I went through earlier this morning, when I was alone and confused. His fingertips run up and down gently on my arm, a gesture I try not to notice.

He follows me down the stairs, and when we reach the sitting room at the bottom of them, he pulls me into it.

His hands leave my body, as he looks down at me. Just the fact he has to look down at me is unsettling.

"My wolf would like to apologize for my earlier words," Aramis murmurs. I can tell he doesn't do this sort of thing often. "He's disgusted I said such things to his mate."

"He's disgusted," I snort under my breath, looking at the coffee table where someone had left a mug. I turn back to him, mirroring his gaze. "You have nothing to apologize for, Alpha, you didn't lie," I manage to say without a break in my voice. My wolf snarls at him from my chest.

Aramis squints at me, sensing her hostility as his wolf yelps a warning to him. I imagine it goes along the lines of 'shitty job, human, my wifey is pissed as hell now!'

Aramis' hot gaze leaves my eyes as he looks me up and down quickly. "You look proper."

"Thanks," I roll my eyes. How suave my mate is, surely I'll faint.

Aramis makes a noise of discontent, but otherwise ignores my quibble. "Come, it's time for dinner, and we won't want to keep everyone waiting."

He steers me toward the dining hall where the girls had laughed at me earlier this morning, his hand guiding me by resting on the small of my back. I roll my eyes as my wolf becomes vaguely interested. How is it that she can just drop her anger at the touch of a finger? I scowl, but replace it with false content as we enter the grand dining hall. Everyone quiets and stares at us. Aramis merges next to me, hand still on my waist. Everyone is blatantly... Staring. I force a smile on.

"I would like to introduce everyone to my mate, Caelia. She is to be your next Luna," Aramis speaks loudly, his voice projecting up into the beams of the high ceiling. More than a few eyes widen. I see Ailive at the middle table and smile at her. She smiles back. She's seated next to a handsome man with a stubbly beard and bright green eyes. He looks at me, curious. My eyes find the group of girls from this morning, to see each of them looking outraged and... Confused?
