His past

We arrive in front of what looks like an abandoned house. It looked like it had been burned, maybe an accident. It still looked solid though but nobody would actually be able to live in there if they didn't renovate it. The house was old and very old. It had some black on the sides, from the fire. Shawn walked into the house, and hesitated at first. He told me to stay in the car while he went to check to see if it was okay. I didn't want to stay in the car all by myself, but if Shawn told me to, then there must be something he has to check on. I don't know why, in kinda scared he won't come out.
It's been 10 minutes and he still hasn't come out. I'm getting really worried. Where is he?? What is he doing?? Is he okay??
I get out of the car and look for him, I took my phone out of my pocket and put the flashlight on, which wasn't very much of a help to be honest. It would clear up more than 2 meters away. I decide to get closer to the house.
"Shawn are you there"
It's been 20 minutes. I mean I know that he told me to stay here, but "checking" the house doesn't take forever.
No answer.
"Shawn are you there"
I enter the door into a dark room, I can barely see a thing but I can see that the walls used to be yellow. I nice house. There was burnt furniture and a few holes in the walls. It was actually really nice. I would live in that house. Someone could just renew it, like rebuild it. It would look amazing.
"Sh-Shawn"
I stutter because I'm really starting to get scared. I hear a little sound, like someone crying. I run to the hallway, open all the doors. I try to find him, I look for him in every single room. No one. I go up the stairs and find a door. A door apart from all the others. I open it since it's the last door that I haven't checked. Shawn was sitting in a chair, the only piece of furniture in the room. I could tell it was kinda burnt because it was black on the sides.
"Shawn are you okay"
He gets up and turns around, he looks through the window and I can see him wiping a tear.
"Jenn, you see this house"
I rub my hand on his back which makes him tear up. I guess he's not really used to comfort.
"Yes I see it, it's beautiful"
I kiss his upper arm and continue to run his back.
"I used to live in this house, this was my house, until there was a fire one night, nobody knows for sure what started it"
He bites his lip to prevent crying and I just continue to run his muscular back.
"And then you moved away with the rest of you family and we became neighbours?"
I questioned him, not really sure what to answer he lowered his head and thought. He thought for a while.
"My little sister, my little brother and my dad past away in the fire"
I feel shivers go up my back and tense up.
"I'm sorry Shawn"
I continue to run his back and we stay silent.

I want to stop lying to Jenn, I want to tell her everything. I want to tell her the truth. I brought her here today so I could show her a part of my life. My family did pass away in this house, my whole family got burnt in the fire. I don't know when I should tell her that my mom died in the fire as well. I mean, shes supposed to think that the woman in my house right now, is my mom. I just feel like it's too soon to tell her about this. I don't want to frighten her, but if I wait to long, when I spill this, she's going to hate me. I brought her here to show her where I come when I need to be alone. I just sit on the roof. The room were in right now, used to be my room. Everything is gone now, everything was burnt and the things that were left from the fire, I had to sell to survive and make my way to where I am now today. I'm a rich man. Maybe I don't have an honest job, but it's the last thing I got. Until Jenn got into my life. She's the thing I hand on to. She's the only one who's ever seen me cry.
"Cmon follow me"
I hold her hand and get out the window, onto the roof. She follows me without any hesitation. We lay there for several minutes without saying a word. I'm rubbing her gentle little hand with my thumb. I know she loves it when I do that. My phone rings and Matthews number appears on it, I just dismiss it and concentrate on Jenn. Her eyes were still closed, I think she was enjoying the summer breeze and the sounds that summer nights procure. I smile while looking at her, she looks so peaceful. She's beautiful. I don't think I've ever looked at a girl the way I look at her. She sits up and lays her head on my chest, I wrap my arms around her and look at her. I wouldn't change anything about this moment. She raises her head up, and looks me in the eyes. Her eyes drift to my lips. And that's exactly when I know, when I know I've made it. She likes me back. I smile and wait for her to make a move.

I put my lips on his. We start to kiss passionately for about 5 seconds. Our lips connect and move in sync. Perfectly. It's my first kiss and i was really nervous about it. It wasn't that bad. It was actually good. I don't know why I kissed him, I think I just, I think I'm happy being around Shawn. He cares about me, I like it. I like him. I blush and look at him. He's smiling, he becomes serious again and connects his lips back to mine, we kiss. We kiss for a longer period of time. This was perfect. He pulled away and brushed some of the hair I had in my face behind my ears and smiled at me.
"I love you" he whispers. He looks up at the stars and lays back down. He closes his eyes and he's just, he looks so beautiful. I like him.
"I uh, I love you too"
I blush and look at him, a little smile appears on his lips.
His phone vibrates I can hear it.
He gets up and clenches his jaw, means he's getting annoyed. Annoyed from distractions maybe?
"I have to take this, he's called me two times already, it might be important."
He walks back into the house, leaving me on the roof. Alone. I can't wait for him to get back.

"What is it Matt"
I say frustrated. I was so happy I could be with her alone. I was so happy she finally kissed me.
"You've been robbed"
"I WHAT" I reply screaming not thinking that Jenn was still outside.
"You've been robbed, well at least someone went in your house"
I think.
"GO TO JENNS HOUSE RIGHT NOW AND CHECK IF HER MOM IS OKAY"
"Shawn, you've been robbed, the shit is gone"
"I SAID GO"
