Out Night

he brushes my hair off of my face gently with his thumb. He placed a kiss on my forehead and then lowers to whisper "I love you too" close to my ear. The room was so silent. It was just me and Shawn. Cuddling. I decide to switch the tv channel to something we would actually watch and not the news. He smiles and looks at me.
"There's nothing to look at it boring, let's go out"
My smile widens. I want to visit NC. I want to go out with Shawn.
"Yes I'd be more than happy too"
He gets up and takes his sweatshirt. He then looks down at me still laying down on the bed.
"You love this place don't you"
I smile and get up getting my hoodie.
"I love it. I think if I was older I'd actually move down here"
He chuckles and opens the door for me, I get out and wait for him to come join me. After a minute he gets out and puts his arm around me. I wonder what he had to do to come out 1 minute after me.
He probably had to get get his wallet.
"What car are we taking?"
"The black Range Rover. "
We got in the car and we drove off. It was pretty dark outside considering it was 11PM. I could see Shawns face characters. I could see the outline of his black eyes, because of lack of sleep. He should sleep more.
"You should sleep more"
A little smile appears on his face and he puts his hand on my thigh. It calmed me down and changed my thoughts. Not like I needed calming to be honest, being with him is one of the most calming things. I feel so secure. I feel powerful at the same time. I wonder how he must feel since he's the leader in all this mess. We drive for about 10 minutes and he stops the car in the middle of the woods. I don't know about you, but going into the woods at 11:30 PM freaks me the fuck out. We don't have any lights, we don't know what's in there.
"Shawn are you sure"
He gets out the car and nods
"Hell yeah"
I get out of the car and he smiles at me. We start walking into the woods and I can't deny that I'm scared of what's going to happen. Especially when I know someone wants to hurt Shawn by hurting me. I'm scared for Shawn, he has to go through all this at such a young age. The North Carolina night summer breeze brushed my skin and felt so good. I heard a lot of cracking through the woods but I bet that's normal because we're in a forest, there's wind and there's animals. Shawn didn't seem to bother at all, he just kept going. Along the way he took my hand and we talked hand in hand. We reached a little hill, we started to climb it, I almost fell stomping on a rock but Shawn caught me on my way down. We arrived on the top of the hill.
He smiled at me and turned his head back to the amazing view. His smile was so angelic. I could stare at it for hours.
The view was amazing, there were so many lights and -
This is a fair. It's a local fair. It's so pretty, I can see the Ferris wheel, and all its lights. I could see all the rides light up the sky.
"W..wow this is amazing"
"I know" he blushes and helps me go down the steep hill. There's a gate in front of the fair, Shawn hops over it and gets the gate from the inside.
Full of teenagers where airing the area of loud music and partying. I could smell the summer food and the smell of nature, but also that smell you get when you go in fairs. It's like specific to fairs. Shawn and I look at each other and walk in hand in hand.
"So what would you like to do first"
I look down, I look down at his black
vans. I look at him with his Jacket and his shirt. How can someone look so beautiful?
"Can we go onto the Ferris wheel?"
He nods and we make way to the huge ride.
We get on it, once we got to the top, I swear it was like the world was ours. Shawn came closer to me and brushed hair from off my face. He connected his lips to mine and we kissed, our eyes were shut and you could feel the passion. His lips were so soft and he was such a good kisser.
I pulled away and put my head on his chest. He took my hand and started to rub it with his thumb.
"Shawn you need sleep"
He looked at me and smiled a little smile, but a sincere smile.
"I know" he sighed and looked at the horizon.
I felt safe, like he was protecting me from the world.
I hear a gunshot and Shawns head turns instantly to where the sound came.
This definitely wasn't planned.
The intercom started and Shawns eyes turned black. He knew who it was. He stiffened and let go of my hand. He got closer to the rail and listened to what the person was saying.
"I'm coming for her. Give me what I want, and I'll stop."
The intercom went off and the whole fair went black. No lights were on. They'd all been shut off.
Shawn pulled out his phone and dialled Gilinsky.
"Jack get to the fair right now, Nash is here and he threatened me, I'm stuck in a ride, he cut all power off"
He nodded and shut his phone.
"If I call Nash to ask him what he wants he's going to trace my cell. Stay quiet."
"O..okay"
He looked at me and he looked guilty.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for everything" he whispered.
I started to tear up and sat with my knees up to my chin. I closed my eyes and pretended that this was all going to be over soon. I pretended that Shawn is just a normal teenage boy. I imagined myself driving, driving like we were earlier. I imagined Cameron and I doing the whip, earlier today. I imagined everything I saw today. I imagined what if that was all for fun, like if nothing was serious.
Then I remembered what I'd done earlier. I had freed myself from ropes. I had escaped from a professional.
I wasn't going to let that bitch, what's his name? Nash. I won't let him hurt anyone. Cameron said I had an advantage, he said I was faster than some people.
I'm going to get the bitch.. I'm going to get Nash. He's caused so much shit, for once in my life I want to do something bad and get Nash back for threatening everyone, for threatening me and for robbing Shawn.
