Cya, Zoe xx

Alex stared lost at Zsusa, who was currently lying like a cat in the sun - feeding - as Saia had explained them.

After showering and eating, Saia had asked them to go one of terrace, so Zsusa could refill its cores.

She had explained them that the monsters feed from the sun light through absorbing it with the black thicker plates. It was then collected in something that they called their 'cores' what was hidden behind the red eyes. This was the reason that it was the monsters weak point, hitting it meant draining it of all its life force.

Felix was completely taken by her explanation and scribbled every little detail down. Sarah sat several meters away pale but still listening. She still wasn't over her fear, but it kept getting better.

"I won't tell you." Saia said smiling to Felix, shaking Alex out of his recalling what happened to day so far and let him return to Felix last question at hand. Where Zsusa's core was?

"It's nothing against you but every one of us keeps it a secret." Saia told him amused, before returning to restring her bow. It had ripped when they brought her here and she was clearly shocked about it.

She had told them that her bow was her second life protection after Zsusa, when he wasn't around she could fairly well take it up with them alone.

Alex couldn't really believe this, since she was such a fragile girl, but said nothing since he had seen her that Day saving them.

"Okay, then..." Felix continued. He was literally draining Saia of her knowledge about the monsters right now. "Why do they hunt us, when they don't need to feed from us?"

Suddenly all their attention was on her, while she stopped in her tracks looking frowning at him. "We don't really know this ourselves, we only have a very old paper, which states 'we are the source', but nothing more."

Silence overcame them. All their thoughts were on the four words 'we are the source'. This little sentence definitely caught them.

"Mhm, that's quite a riddle." Felix nodded agreeing.

"Alex!" A call made them now turn around and Aram appeared.

"What is going on brother?" Alex said getting up.

Aram bent over breathing for a long moment, then looked warily at Zsusa.

"The royal council wants to speak to her - now."

Sarah, Felix and Alex equally started to pale. They all had hoped silently that Saia could be gone before this was going to happen, but now she had to face the royals who looked for every reason to keep her here.

"What is the royal council?" Saia asked curiously and innocently at the same time.

Alex got now completely up and turned to Saia. “That are the ones who make the rules here, they are looking for a reason to keep you here."

Saia's eyes widened and she looked at him worried, while Zsusa sat up growling and barring his teeth.

It made both Sarah and Aram jump back with shocked expressions.

"What shall I do?" She asked a little helpless.

"Nothing." Felix said firmly and the others looked at him. "Just go in there and tell them the truth about what you can tell. They will search for any kind of danger, but even I didn't found one with you and I just interrogated you three hours."
