Loud Alarm bells were heard. It was in the early morning of the third day that they all were shaken awake by this. Alex excused himself with Felix, quickly going to look for the reason. They normally rung when a fire or a rebellion was going on, so they wanted to help in case something happened.

Saia was on lock down with Sarah in her bedroom. They weren’t allowed to even leave the room. Saia objected this completely, she was curious what was going on and wanted to go out. It helped that she could feel Zsusa coming closer and she hoped to find a way to get to him.

After a while she finally convinced Sarah to at least go on the balcony. She looked on the marketplace thirty meters under her, where the people ran around chatting about the reason for the alarm and why they didn’t stop.

Saia watched this so long, until she spotted Zsusa jumping from one roof to the other. She felt herself burst with happiness to see him unharmed. It took Zsusa only three roofs more until she could feel him again and he could feel her.

He let out a loud roar, showing that he could see her, turning the market place into utter chaos. He reached the marketplace and screams were audible. The people were running for their life and panic filled the market. Saia could see the warriors from the so called military run over trying to surround him.

Saia panicked herself and ordered him in her mind to stop moving and close his eyes. The people shouldn’t think he was going to harm them.

“I need to go to him.” Saia said quickly.

“No you can’t!” Sarah yelled at her, she looked still white like chalk and absolutely horrified at Zsusa.

Saia rolled her eyes and jumped over the balustrade onto another balcony two meters downstairs. Like she had planned out yesterday when they had eaten on the balcony. She did it several times again. She was ten meters above the ground, when noticed that there were more balconies missing. She ran indoors and down the stairs until she was out of the building. She could hear Sarah’s panicked shouts from upstairs, which quieted as soon as she could see her again.

Meanwhile, a large empty circle had formed around him. Saia moved swiftly between the people who stood there either frozen or curious. She faced a wall of protectors around them and quickly ducked between their legs trough in the circle. They obviously didn’t expect somebody to enter this circle willingly since they only looked confused after her.

Alex looked wide eyed at the giant creature in the middle of their market place. He knew that was Saia’s Zsusa since the monster attacked nobody and went straight in the direction they kept her. Zsusa was at least two meters tall and had like all of them black leather skin and this black harder plates on his back. He had giant claws and teeth ready to kill you. His ears twitched in different directions like searching for something but he stood there waiting and not moving. Alex noticed Zsusa’s collar and the thick chains that hung down from it. The chains they had used to ‘safe’ Saia from him, was ripped. It scared him to know that Zsusa had been able to rip them apart, because to him they looked really massive.

Alex shouted quickly that all stopped their fire and after a while they slowly did. It was clearly that the arrows and bullets weren’t harming Zsusa at all. He found his brother which looked completely horrified.

“HOW CAN YOU LET THE FIRE STOP?” Aram shouted at him.

“That is Zsusa, its Saia’s monster. It won’t harm us, it only wants to have her.” Alex told him quickly. “I stopped the fire in case it’s provoking him. We need to get Saia here.”
