Wait... WHAT!?!?

Raelynn's POV

I started disappearing, I knew I was starting to wake up...

As my eyes fluttered open I could hear the monitors beeping. I heard the door open so I looked over, a guy in a white coat was walking over to me .

"Ahh Raelynn you're awake!" I faintly smiled at him."I'm gonna ask you a couple questions, answer them as good as you can, okay?" I nodded. "What's your full name?"

"Raelynn Elizabeth Blair Payne"

"Good, what's your job?"

"I'm an FBI agent."

"Do you know what happened to you?" "Umm... I was... I was shot."

"Very good... now just one more question. What's your daughter's full name?"

"Cordelia Darcy Payne."

"Good."

The doctors pager started beeping ... "I'll be right back." And with that, he left the room.

20 minutes later...

The doctor appeared back in my room, well on the phone. "Umm Raelynn... do you know who Cordelias father is?"

"Of course, why?"

"While you were in your coma, Cordelia was sent to a child care facility... her dad was here with you the entire time... he's at the facility right now and he's trying to pick up Cordelia but he needs your consent before he's able to take her. He's on the phone now, do you want to talk to him?"

"What!? Harry wants my consent to take MY DAUGHTER? Umm NO! As in no way! as in Not happening! EVER!"

"Just please talk to him... please Raelynn?"

"ughhh, fine"

"Hello Harry."

"Raelynn I'm so glad your awake!"

"Oh cut the crap Harry!"

"I wasn-"

"So you found our daughter huh?"

"Yeah, Raelynn I'm so sorry I lef-"

"Oh, you're sorry that you left me on the day of our three year anniversary, the day when I was gonna tell you about our daughter? And it just so happens to be that you were drunk on that day! "

"Raelynn, we can talk about this when your released, right now your daughter has been in this place for a month! She doesn't know where you are or what happened! I just want to bring her back to you... Raelynn please!"

"You promise you will bring her right here?"

"Yes of course!"

"Fine, hand the phone to the person at the front desk."

Harry's POV

I handed my phone over. The lady nodded and asked some questions before she looked up at me and then hung up the phone. She turned to the lady next to her

"Go get Cordelia Payne, this gentleman is her father." I smiled like an idiot! I could feel tears in the back of my eyes. 'Don't cry Harry'.

A tall tan girl brought Cordelia out. She was holding her hand. I knelt down and Cordelia walked up to me. "Hi Cordelia". "Hello sir", her voice was so small. "Are you here to take me away". "Oh no, I'm here to bring you to see someone. Do you have any clue who I am?". "No" "well Cordelia, I'm your daddy" "you is? " her little eyebrows ferrowed, she was so cute when she was confused "mhmm I am" "prove it!" ... oh Gawd she was just like her mother! Haha... "here wanna she a pictures of me and mommy? " "yeah". I took out my wallet and showed her my old picture I had kept for so long. She looked at the photo then up at me. She smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck. I let a tear escape my eye when I picked her up. "You really is my dad" "yeah, I am" she. Let go of my neck and I set her on my hip so I could still carry her. "Now how bout we go see mommy? " "yeah! ".

I set Cordelia in my car and started driving.

When we arrived at the hospital I held her hand and we walked to the elevators. We got in and I told her to go press #4 she did and then ran back and grabbed my hand. I hadn't stopped smiling since I saw her.

Once we were out side of Raelynns door Cordelia turned to me "now that I'm gonna see mommy again, does it mean that you have to leave? ". "no baby, I'm not going anywhere " "okay, thank you" I smiled and opened the door... Cordelia ran to her mom and jumped on her bed. "Mommy! I thought you forgot bout me " " no, I could never forget bout you". Cordelia hugged her mom and then jumped off the bed and ran back to me. She grabbed my hand and attempted to pull me closer to Raelynn. I smirked "okay okay baby, I'm coming". "Hello Raelynn " "long time no see Harry ". "Its been 4 years, can I get a hug? " she laughed "same old Harry, sure" we hugged and Cordelia crawled underneath our arms and hugged us to.

"Yay now daddy can come stay with us mommy! " "yeah or I can come visit you". "No Harry!"... what!? We were doing so well a second ago! . Oh dear lord here we go again!
