Chapter 17

~Caleb's POV One Week Later~
Lily still hasn't woken up and I'm worried, it's been a week without her smile, her laugh, her voice and it was killing me. I have been a wreck I was barely eating or drinking, I just stayed by her side all day. I have been crying uncontrollably, I have tried to whip them away but it's no use they just keep on coming. I had my face stuffed on my bed when these Doctor came in. I was scared that they were going to tell me that Lily will never wake up. Tina, Gabe, Will, and Juliet were in the waiting room and already found out. "I have some good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first?" The doctor asked plainly looking down at her keyboard. "Good news please." I stayed I needed good news right now. "Well we have confirmed that Lily will be waking up." I felt so relieved that she would be ok. "But however the bad news is well that Lily hit her head so hard she lost a lot of her memory and we might not be able to recover it." I was upset again but I was curious. "How much of it did she lose?" I asked I needed to know at with pint but it shouldn't be too bad. "Up until the plane ride before she went to vidcon." That me she didn't remember me at all. She won't remember me she will have forgotten everything about me and about us. How could I let this happen? The doctor left quietly and I cried into the bed that's when I felt movement on the bed. I looked up and Lily was awake she was scared obviously not knowing who I was. "Are you Caleb from Bratayley why are you here Lily asked me calmly. "You might not believe me but, I am your ex- boyfriend and I really want to get back together with you. But that's not important right now, you are in the hospital because you were trying a new type of basket toss and they didn't catch you because you were with a group of different people." I stayed to her slowly and calmly, I didn't want to overwhelm her with information all at once she nodded and understood. She looked down at her hands okay cool with them. She looked up "Where's Gabe?" she asked me hoping that he was here. "I'm right here" Gabe said given her a hug. Then To and Juliet came in with Will. "LILY!" Tina and Juliet yelled in sync and ran over to hug her. "Who is that?" Lily said pointing at Will. "Oh Lily this is my boyfriend Will." Juliet smiled sweetly and Will said hi to Lily and she said hi back. The doctor came in and announced that Lily could go home, I went to help her up but she just got up the other way with Tina and Juliet helping her up. Her back hurt and so did everything else and she had a broken ankle. Lily had both of her arms wrapped around Tina and Gabe an they helped her walk. We got in the car we had to sit next to each other but she just looked out the window the whole time. It was kind of nice to have her near me and thus close to me again. I needed to help her regain her memory and gain her trust back but I was just glad that she was safe and okay for now. It was Christmas Eve and Lily had to spend it all corrupted and sad, surrounded with people she didn't know including my family. When we got home I got out of the car and walked inside of the house, our new house at least. My family and everyone else family was coming to visit for Christmas but they would all get here late at night.
~11:00 P.M.~
It was 11:00 P.M. by now and we were all working know getting Lily's memory back. But she was tired and she decided to go to bed. Will went to help her up and she toon his hand and stared at it. I think she was remembering something. "Will?" Lily asked and got up and hugged him right.  She started crying, but she was crying with tears of joy. I still wasn't sure if she remembered me. "Lily? Do you remember me?" I asked her gaining her attention, she thought for a moment and then shook her head and replied with a "Sorry." after that she just walked to her room with help of course. She was in her room at her vanity mirror taking of all of the makeup from the previous days. "Lily can we talk please?" I needed to help her remember me or at least trust me again. She nodded and we sat on her bed, "Are you sure you don't remember me? I mean at all?" I asked quietly she shook her head at me and I knew something was wrong. "What's wrong? Don't be upset." I said to her looking at her. "Listen Caleb I know exactly who you are, when I touched Will everything came back to me. I was just hoping that if I pretended to not know you things would get better. I'm sorry that I lied but I wanted things to be happier and maybe it would have made it easier to forgive you." Lily was upset so j just hugged her and God I missed this so much. Just holding her in my arms felt like everything was better again. Like there was no more worries in the world it was hug me and Lily and no one could bother us. "Just so you know I want to start over and be with you, I was just being a jerk because I thought you really did like Will and I thought I needed to move on. In the hospital when you were in the coma I kept repeating this statement "No. Don't go. Don't leave me like everyone else...... I need you. Please stay." I stated those words perfectly from memory. She looked up at me and I couldn't take it anymore I kissed her. Fireworks were everywhere and she kissed back. I hope this meant that could call her mine again. When we pulled away I began to walk out of the room so she could sleep. "I love you." Lily stated looking at me under her covers. I smiled back "I love you even more than you could ever imagine." I told her and I meant every word that came out of my mouth, I love Lily.
