One True Love

Chapter 12

~Lily's POV~
After we reached our destination we walked to our own little island. I was like the big pools we were in as a group but it was just Caleb and I. It was amazing we had trainer with us for a quarter of the day but she said that I knew what I was doing and had a real connection with the dolphins so she trusted me with them by ourselves. Caleb was actually really enjoying himself he started to like the Dolphins. I was happy I had my boy and my dolphins in one space and I get another whole day to myself with the Dolphins. Caleb isn't going to be a trainer tomorrow so me and Tina are going to do it together with Gabe while Juliet, Will, and Caleb are going to explore the park. I spent my time swimming in the deep end watching the dolphin do really cool tricks with me and Caleb just stood there and watched. We had two dolphins in at the time the ones from earlier Stella and Thelma. I had my feet on their beak under the water. And they swam with me above gliding through the water at an incredible pace. Then I stood on their beak and they shot out of the water with me on their beaks. I was lifted extremely high of the ground and while I was still rising Stella and Thelma did a front flip and I saw Caleb looking at me with his mouth wide open. Then I was at the time and did a triple back twist since I was so high and I learned it from cheer and I landed in the water gracefully with my feet first. Caleb's jaw was on the floor and I turned around because I had heard clapping and a whole lot of it. Then I turned around and about 25 trainers including the owner were there. I thought I was in trouble until he approached me.
"Where did you learn all of that? Are you a trainer somewhere else? Or were your parents or something?" the owner asked me with amazement tin his voice. "No I learned the flip from cheer and the Dolphins guided me through the rest. I guess we just had a connection. A click maybe." I told him looking at the Dolphins who were on either of my side petting them lightly. He smiled at me and I  smiled back at him. "What grade are you in and how are you petting them like that they usually hate it. Oh and my name is Mike I am the owner of Discovery Cove and head dolphin trainer. He smiled at me and I returned it "So what is your name?" Mike asked me very casually. "Oh I'm Lily and I don't work here and I live dolphins I said as I continued to pet the Dolphins and they smiled at me. "Well Lily we could use someone like you as a dolphin trainer they seem to love you." Mike said looking at both Stella and Thelma. I laughed "I would but I am only 13 years old." I told him happily with a hint of sadness in my voice but it wasn't noticeable. "Well you could be an intern and you could live with one of us because your technically allowed to legally have a part time job at 14 years old. Plus the Dolphins love you just look at them." Mike said motioning to the Dolphins. I grinned as wide as I possibly could and Caleb must have heard because his smile immediately dropped. Then it hit me I wouldn't be able to see my boyfriend if I took up his offer. "I'm sorry I can't because I have my boyfriend and my best friends up in Maryland and I can't leave them." I said told Mike proudly. "Well if there is one thing that I learned in my life it's that there are only so many people like you out in this world, it's a one in a million chance you would ever meet them, and when oh meet them you can't let them go you could make history with these Dolphins and do things people haven't even thought of. That trick you just did there is something no one has ever done before." Mike said trying to get me to stay and it was sort of working I looked at Caleb and he gave me a nod of approval. "I'll stay under one condition my other friends and my boyfriend have to live with me." I told Mark maybe a little over confident but I smiled widely at him. There was a moment of silence to him thinking to himself. "I will take her I have a daughter too and she is her age and she would love some more friends I believe our kids already met." said a dolphin trainer somewhere in the back. She stepped forward and it was my best friend Miranda's mom, her mom moved to Florida to work here and then we didn't get to see each other since. I think it has been about 3 years since I last saw Miranda. And I couldn't wait to see her but knowing Miranda she didn't have an interest in Dolphins. "I'm guessing she is in the snorkel area?" I asked her mom and she nodded I said goodbye to Stella and Thelma. And they waved third tail back at me while I laughed. I caught up to Tina, Gabe, and Juliet. I ran up quietly and jumped in Gabe's back and he knew it was me right away and started to run ahead of Caleb, Tina, and Juliet while they chased after me. I then realized that Will wasn't there. "Gabe do you know where Will?" I whispered in his ear. He shook his he shook his head no and slowed down and waited for the others so I could ask them myself, when they were behind us we turned around with me still in his back. I hopped off of his back and went over to Caleb and I intertwined my hand with his. "Do you guys know where Will is?" I asked them all hoping at least someone knew. "Oh he went home he said he had a headache and just wanted to go home." Juliet told me with concern in her voice but I knew she knew he was okay. "Here I'll go check on him I'm tired anyway and I know everyone wants to go have fun." I said to them because I was worried about Will. But Caleb gotten used to me around my guy friends so he wasn't jealous. I gave Tina and Juliet a quick hug. Then u gave Gabe a bear hug and walked over to Caleb j hugged him and gave him a kiss and he kissed back. "Ewwww no PDA at Discovery Cove!" Tina and Juliet whined me and Caleb laughed and I have him a kiss on the check and left to the resort. I got to the hotel and opened the door quietly being careful in case Will was asleep. And to my luck he was fast alseep on the coach so I covered him with Blankets and sat next to him while I was watching tv. "What are you doing here I thought you were supposed to be at Discovery Cove with everyone?" Will said as he got up and stretched sleepily. "I am tired and I decided to come check in you, how are you feeling? I asked Will calmly, "Good I think I just needed some rest and I'm a little hungry, can we order room service?" Will asked with hope in his voice, I nodded and he smiled wide and I returned it. It was about 1:30 so it was time for lunch. I ordered a grilled cheese and he ordered a meatball sub, I enjoyed my meal and Will seemed to enjoy just as much as me and maybe even a little more. After he ate I suggested that we would watch some Netflix and he agreed. While we were watching started to fall asleep and I fell asleep on Will's shoulder. When they got home Caleb was grabbing all the stuff from the car so Gabe carried me to my bed. "Love ya best friend." I mumbled "Love you too." Gabe told me as he put the blankets on me and left.
