J: what is it?
K: oh, well my boyfriend
J: you have a boyfriend????
K: oh, i mean my EX boyfriend, sorry
J: oh
K: okay so my EX boyfriend, Hunter, he was asking who the boy i was talking to today at the mall
J: yeah..
K: And Hunter is REALLY annoying and he still hasn't left me alone, and he said whenever i get a new boyfriend, he'll leave me alone. so.. I told him that you were my boyfriend..
jacob looked at me with his eyes widened
K: uhhh.. are you okay?😂
J: yeah, i was just surprised that you said that.. i didnt know you liked me that way
K: oh, i dont
J: oh okay😂
Jacob looked at me with a disappointed face
J: okay was that all?
K: nope
J: okay😂 go on then
K: okay, so to get him to leave me alone, i told him that you were my boyfriend and now he wants to meet you
J: oh.. okay? now what do you want me to do?
K: I want you to act as my boyfriend
J: ...
K: Yeah but idk how long.. he really likes to get in people's business
J: seems like it
K: yeah, so what do you say?
J: well, what do i get for it?
K: idk what do you want?
J: uhmmm.. are you good at math?
K: yeah, well I have an A.. does that count?
J: well i guess, bc I suck at math and im trying to get into the basketball team at my new school. Btw i just moved here
K: yeah, i know you did. you told me.. and what school are you enrolling in?
J: I think it's called Flint Hill Middle School
K: omg that's the school i go to (🙄)
J: oh cool! im glad i met someone that goes there
K: yeah.. so what about math again?
J: oh i was wondering if you would tutor me..
K: oh umm.. sure, but why again?
J: Oh, one of the requirements for getting in the basketball team is to get a 3.5 GPA.. but i have like a 3 GPA And so Math is the one dragging me down.
K: Sure, i'll tutor you.. but when?
J: Can rn work? I was gonna practice my basketball skills, but rn?
K: well, uhh can my friend come? her name is Aalysa
J: sure!
K: okay. Wait.. why do you have to practice math if it's still summer? Dont you want to do something fun?
J: basketball is really the only thing i like to do. But sure.. it's summer, i guess, what do you want to do?
K: do you wanna go to the water park?
J: Sure, is it far?
