Devon Spencer was a 7th grader at WSN middle school who was struck by a car, which was driven by a 17 year old girl who was going to school after stoping at McDonald's three or four days ago. She was texting while driving. Devon started off in critical condition. They thought he was brain dead at first, but then he sort of started to respond. When the nurses touched him he would try to fight them off. The hospital thought he was going better,and he could breath on his own. Well, today they took him off the respiratory machine and just a few minutes ago he passed away. He will be greatly missed. We were friends, and had spoken the day before. His friends Mario Lane was there when he was hit. He saw the accident happen, and he went through a pretty dramatic experience. Keep the Spencer family, Mario, and WSN 7th grade middle school in your prayers.
