"Aliye wake up!" I shook her and yelled her name as I had been for the past minute or so.

She shot up clutching onto her chest and panting for breath.

"You had a bad dream?"

She fell over into my chest sobbing and I sighed. It's been two weeks since she was violated and though Reggie was locked up she still had dreams that he would kill her for calling me to help her.

She fell asleep while we were watching a movie at my house. We were trying to make it a ritual now. I knew that Reggie kept her busy most of the time and with Robyn and Kendall dating she was back at square one, feeling alone. So every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and weekends we'd find a movie to watch at either her house or mine. At least until she was feeling better again.

"I hate him." She cried into my chest.

"Reggie?" I rubbed her back in a soothing manner while she vented.

"He killed you in the dream Bent, because of me."

"That's all it was ma. A dream. Cause trust me that nigga don't wanna see me." I started going off on a tangent and cleared my throat getting back to the topic at hand. "It's just a dream Aliye. You safe."

She nodded holding onto me. "How long have I been asleep?"

"Two hours I wanna say."

"So you finished the movie without me?"

"Nah, I wasn't even paying attention honestly. I was on Twitter looking at all the hype about this new Beyoncé video."

"She has a new video?!" She jumped up grabbing her phone. "Queen, oh God."

"Yeah it's called formation. Shit lit. I'll put my babies in Bey man." I sighed looking at a photo of her on my home screen. It was depressing how bad I wanted that woman.

Aliye watched the video and squealed and gasped in amazement. "Yooooo the police car! She sank the damn police car! Stan for us Bey!" She yelled and I chuckled at how quickly she went from sobbing to cheering.

"Yeah that video was deep. White nation gon be frantic."

"This was so amazing." She chuckled.

"Ya hungry? You ain't ate since you got here yesterday."

"No appetite. I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"Positive. Just wanna watch the movie."

"Alright but you gotta eat later. I ain't taking no for an answer."

She nodded and sat up in the bed getting comfortable while I rewinded the movie.

Just as the movie started I got a text message. I picked up my phone and seen Bri's name on the screen. I bit down on my lip as I unlocked my phone reading her message.

Babygirl 👑: Bent, I really need to talk to you. I miss you more than you know. I was wrong Bentley, I know. I was selfish. But I love you and you know that. You also know you love me too. All the nights we talked about our future, how we'd be married, everything. I'm asking you for another chance is all. You're my other half Bentley just please talk to me. I glanced over at Aliye who was all into the movie and turned my attention back to the phone.
