Kristoff

I sat in my mom's basement like every other Saturday night. I was watching the news hoping to give me some inspiration for my writing.

Some wanted thief committed a robbery but the cops were still nowhere close to catching him. It was the same thing every week.

I sighed and closed my laptop over. It was hopeless. I needed to get a job. I had to get out of my mom's basement. I mean, it's great and I love her and all but it's kinda hard to take girls home to your mothers house.

I started looking up bars in the area because bar tending and screenwriting go hand in hand...it seems like an easy enough job...

I found one called "The Warren", owned by some guy named Aster and his buisness partners. It seemed to be the perfect place so I got my jacket and snuck out before my mom could ask questions.

When I got there a girl with colourful hair was wiping down the bar.

"Sorry we are closed." She said with absolutely no sympathy.

"I'm here to apply for a job." I stated. She looked up and studied me.

"Ok let me got get the owners." She went into the back room and came out with two men. One was bigger and old while the other was built.

"Welcome to the Warren mate." The younger one said. "I'm Bunny." He offered his hand and I shook it.

"North." Boomed the other man.

"Is it just you three that work here?" I asked in surprise.

"Pretty much we have Sandy who is our silent partner and the Snow Queen who preforms here." The girl explained." I'm Tooth."

"I need a job." I said getting to the point.

"Sorry mate. We're a tight knit bunch and we've been smooth sailing. You'd be better off applying at the Snuggly duckling." I sighed and left heading down to the other bar. Unlike The Warren, this bar was still full. All of the customers were huge and intimidating. Before I could say anything, a tiny man staggered towards me.

"Ooh this one's a cutie can we keep him?" He slurred. I slipped around him bumping into a bigger man. He was bald with bushy eyebrows and big teeth.

"I am so sorry!" I apologized. He looked malicious mean and scary.

"What's a kid like you doing in a place like this?" He sneered. His sneer could curtle dairy.

"I'm looking for a job." I cowered.

"Sure kid. We could always use some help around here. You start tomorrow." And with that he went back to partying while I went home proud of myself that I had gotten a job.

My mom was sad that I was saving up to leave her but it was way too exciting for me to feel bad for her. I fell asleep that night thinking of all the possibilities I had since I worked in a bar. I was actually going to have money!
