Love, Guys, who understands them?

PREVIOUSLY ON LAST CHAPTER-

I quickly closed my laptop, grabbed my backpack and headed downstairs. First day of school, here we go!

"Moooooooom!", I called from downstairs, "can you drive me to school now please?"

"Sorry I can't honey! I've got breakfast with the moms, and I am going to shower now! You'll have to find a way". My mom half said, half yelled.

I sighed. How am I gonna get there walking? I can't arrive sweaty at school! Ugh.

"Alright." I mumbled, "See ya mom"

I walked out of my house and waited there a little bit until I decided on how to get to school. I decided I would call Nick -since he is in the same school and has his own car- to see if he could pick me up. I clicked his contact name and called him, hoping he would answer and could take me. It ringed a couple of times until finally he picked up.

"Hello?" He said

"Um...uh hey nick! Uh well, I was wondering..if you could..um, you know..uh, pick me up for school? My mom couldn't drive me. I finally managed to say. I could feel me getting all red and panicked, what if he said no? It would be soooo embarassing and well, how would I get to school? My thoughts were interrupted by him saying

"Yep, sure, be there in 5"

I sighed in relief. I could feel the butterflies forming in my stomach. I think I liked Nick. Wait. No. Maddie. You like Josh. Not Nick. J O S H. Josh is your boyfriend, not Nick.

After all my thoughts I finally said,

"K, perfect! See ya"

"Yeah, bye!"

"Bye Nick" I hung up.

I can't like Nick. Nooo freaking way. I was with Josh, and I loved him too much to cheat on him. Or do I really love him? Gosh. Nick didn't even do anything, he is just picking me up and I'm already falling for him. What is wrong with me?
