PREVIOUSLY ON LAST CHAPTER-

I can't like Nick. Nooo freaking way. I was with Josh, and I loved him too much to cheat on him. Or do I really love him? Gosh. Nick didn't even do anything, he is just picking me up and I'm already falling for him. What is wrong with me?

Chapter 4

I finished with my thoughts and sat on the ground outside of my house, waiting for Nick to pick me up. I waited 5 minutes and soon enough, he was there. His car wasn't a very 'attractive' one, to be honest. I think it was made around the 70's. I shrugged and stood up from the ground, shaking off some dirt that had been on my shorts.

"You coming or not?" Nick asked, smirking.

I blushed. "Uhh yeah!" I said, and faked a smile. I quickly grabbed my things and hopped into the front seat next to Nick, not bothering to say anything. I looked at the street in front of me while I could see Nick staring at me.

"What?" I snapped, annoyed and confused.

"Not even a 'hello'?" Nick said, lifting his eyebrows and his arms.

I rolled my eyes. "Hello" I said, turning to him, making a sarcastic smile. "Happy now?" I added.

"Yes, actually. God, you're moody in the mornings" he said, and started the car again.

I just rolled my eyes. I couldn't let him get to me. I know Nick very well, and he doesn't stop flirting, once you are his, then he moves on to another girl. He is a player. Maybe not saying 'hi' or 'hello' was a bit too paranoid, but I needed to be careful. As I said before, I had a boyfriend.

Nick and I didn't talk the whole ride to school. Once we got there, I thanked him and made my own way to the entrance of the school. I could tell Nick was annoyed by my attitude, I had been sassy to him. But, whatever, he didn't matter to me. Or did he? I kinda didn't want him to think bad things about me. Maybe he actually mattered to me, and his opinion about me too. Oh gosh what am I thinking? Nick is nothing to me and I shouldn't even be bothered about what he thinks. Period.
