Chapter 9 : Reiji's game

"Yuma talked with me yesterday" Umi said while the two were sitting and eating. Akia put her elbow on the table and rest her chin onto her palm. "Really?" She asked, "And what he said to you?" She sticks her drinking straw between her lips and drinks the sweet liquid. "He told me I should forget about him because our relationship wouldn't be as I think... It was the first time he talked so calm to me..." Umi blushed lightly. 'Ugh...that brat...' Akia thought. "He told me he wants to meet me after school". In that moment Akia spit her drink from shock. "WHAT!?" she yelled. Umi was a bit confused. "I-I said he wanted to meet me..." Umi whispered. "You know his a freaking vampire, right?!" Akia whispered – yelled. "I know! But I'm sure he won't do a thing to me..." Umi said, looking away. "Umi, I don't want to offend you but I don't think a vampire would want to have a calm conversation with you when nobody would be in school..." Akia said.
"Akia please, don't worry about me. I'm sure he won't do anything bad to me" Said Umi. "Don't let him fool you" Akia said angrily. "Why are you so sure he will hurt me?! Can't you just be happy for me?" Umi yelled and got up.
She walked away angrily. Tears appeared on her face when she rushed into the restroom. 'Poor girl...'

'Again those two' Akia thought angrily looking at the two sitting in the library together, reading books. Her shy smile irritated her, and every time Yui looked at Shu a little blush appeared on her face. 'I should go to other place so I won't see those two' Akia thought and got up. Yui got up as well to take something from the highest shelf. Akia walked pass the girl when suddenly a wave of books was about to fall onto Yui.

'What the...' Akia woke up in the nurse room. She was lying on the bed when a towel was on her forehead. She sat up and look around. "Shu?!" She yelped quietly when she saw him sleeping on the chair beside her. "Don't be so noise..." He whispered and took out one of his earphones.
"What are you doing here? What happened?" Akia asked.
"I don't really know. I woke up to the sound of Yui's voice. She said you shielded her from the falling books..." Said Shu. 'I'm not remember doing this...' Akia thought. "I don't know why you did it, but I guess...thanks..." He said and got up. He walked towards the door when he suddenly stopped and said "Jealousy looks terrible on you". 'WHAT HE JUST THAT SON OF A-' Akia felt the anger flowing in her body like a hot lava, burning her mind and soul.
Suddenly, She run to the corridor and threw her shoe right into his head. He turn around, confused from what just happened. "Someone needs to learn to control her anger" He chuckled and took her shoe. "Someone needs to learn to control his fucking mouth!" She yelled with tears in her eyes. "You... I hate you!!!" She yelled. The echo hit the walls, making it sound a lot louder and clear. Shu didn't say a word, just walked away.

Akia was on her way home, thinking 'And also I fight with Umi, god she needs to listen sometimes...thinking vampires are good people...ugh!' Suddenly Akia noticed a familiar person standing on the other side of the street, getting into a car. 'Isn't it...Yuma?' She stopped but then continued walking. 'Why should I care? She didn't want to listen to me...' But something felt wrong. Her words talked in her mind. "I thought about you when I drew it!" That smile, her smile which cheer Akia up, and those big eyes of her... 'I must find her!' Akia started to run back to the school. She run pass the corridors when she suddenly stopped. Reiji, was holding Umi and sticking a bottle in her mouth. The black liquid was flowing down her throat, and the tears hitting the floor every second.
"NO!!!" Akia yelled as she run into the two. Reiji dropped the bottle and it broke down. Umi fell onto the floor, shaking. "What have you done to her!!!" Akia screamed at the black haired vampire. "I told you not to be with Shu. It's your fault" Reiji smiled and start walking away. "Umi, Umi! Can you hear me?" She asked, but Umi didn't answer. Akia put Umi on her back and run into the nearest hospital.

Akia was sitting on a chair next to Umi's bed. She was sitting quietly staring at the floor. "A-Akia..." Umi suddenly said. "Hey..." Akia whispered, moving her gaze to her friend. "What...happened..." She asked quietly. "Someone tricked you... Reiji managed to poison you... and... you are here now..." Akia started to sob lightly. "Now... you are sick... and there is no treatment..." Akia started to cry and cover her face. "I'm so sorry I let this happen" She cried out. Umi was in a little shock. She didn't know how to react. "How?" Asked Umi.
"I will tell you...from the start".

Akia spend all night telling Umi everything. She told her about Shu and Reiji and Yuma and Yui and everybody else. About her sister, her story, everything. Umi asked her to leave her for some time so she could understand and digest everything. Akia leaved the room but in the moment she closed the door, she could hear the crying.

Akia was visiting Umi every single day. Her happiness and confident started to fade away together with Umi. Umi became really sick and weak, she couldn't walk and barely talk. One night, when Akia was walking home after visiting Umi, she heard a voice coming from the woods. Next to the hospital was a big and thick forest. She walked into the woods without thinking. The only thought in her mind said 'What do I have to lose?' .
The voice was silent, and Akia found herself in the middle of the woods. She looked around to see nothing but trees, when suddenly she saw a figure, looking away. The girl hide behind a tree and then went after the figure. After five minutes the figure stopped next to a small wooden house. He opened the door and disappeared. The girl walked after the figure into the house. After entering the house they walk down stairs until the figure stopped. Akia hide behind the wall. She could recognize the figure –Reiji.
She could also recognize the room.
Akia was speechless. 'So here he works about all those liquids and stuff' she thought. The man worked about something and then suddenly disappeared.
Akia walked to the table he was working on and saw a horrible picture of wolfs. 'Is he creating them...?' Something smell fishy. She felt he was planning to do something. 'I should get out of here... but Umi...my dear friend...' Akia was confused, not knowing what to do. On one hand Umi is her friend and she wants revenge, on the other hand she doesn't want to get involute in this.
And still, somehow, Umi's voice talked in her head.
She started to explore the room and find out more and more stuff. She heard a sound and knew he was coming back, so she hide under one of the tables.
He came only to take something from one of his drawers.
When he left, Akia walked to the drawers and explored every inch of it, something that will help her win him in this game.
Suddenly, a paper fell out of the bunch of books in there.

'Those demons must be stopped. No matter what it takes, before their plan will work, their house and hopes must be destroyed so the power of the Sakamaki's will always be on top of them.' - The daughter of the demons

And it hit her.
The only compere to the Sakamaki's in school are the mukami's.
He will try to break them down.
