My neck aches, my back hurts, my heart hurts, but that was a given, the other two were from sleeping crooked on the plane. Barely keeping my eyes open, I search for my suitcase cursing the fact that I didn't choose an easily identifiable one. Why couldn't my life be easy? After what I'd just gone through surely someone or something could at least be looking out for me up there. What I believe to be my suitcase enters my view, thank you person up there, I think to myself as I walk towards it. Just as I grab the handle someone else comes up behind me saying that it's his suitcase, looking at the label I find out he's right, I apologize immediately not looking u to his face in embarrassment. Yes, thank you person up there for helping me. My annoyance is at an all time high as I stride away from the idiot and his suitcase, come on, I think desperately, I've got to meet the lady at 3, I check my watch, its 1:15, damn if I don't get going soon I won't make it.
Eventually when I don't see my suitcase I go to one of the people at the desks "I seem to be unable to find my suitcase" I say trying to keep calm.
"Where've you come from?" she says to me bored
"Adelaide." I almost snap at her
"Okay, it seems to me that it's not gone to the wrong place, maybe you just missed it on the conveyor?"
I give the lady a glare "I don't think that that's the correct assumption to make." I say storming away. To my utter embarrassment as I storm my way back to the conveyor I see my suitcase lying there. "Ughhhrrrmmmm!" the people around me throw me glowers over their shoulders, pulling their children away from 'the scary lady' as I heard one child say. My anger is about to boil over so I quickly grab my suitcase and almost sprint out of the airport and then nearly smash myself into a cab as I call for it. I slam the door and it there fuming, not even hearing the cabbie asking where I want to go. His hand waves before my eyes, snapping me out of it, he raises his hands in surrender as I death glare him. "I'm sorry miss but I only wanted to know where you want driving too."
"My apologies," I grit out "do you know where Parkside apartments are?" he nods his head "well to there would be great."
"Yes ma'am."
